I've never had the actual fruit, but have had drinks made out of them way back when. I don't even remember liking or hating it. From what I remember, it was a "it's alright" taste. I still need to try the actual fruit.

I don't think you actually eat the fruit, you get them peeled from a can and make cocktails...

But maybe people do eat them?
