Once again, I'll wait until the end of his rookie contract to judge him. Historically rookies take patience (as in years) to develop and build consistency over time, he keeps incrementally improving. He just needs to develop a skill to consistently get easy buckets to average 20+. Once he gains strength to score through contact, develops a floater and starts learning to make plays in isolation with his handle, he'll then hit another level.
Especially when Cade was being proclaimed a taller Jason Kidd that can shoot the lights out. Atrocious. He has to shoot 15 shots to get his 15 points. But like all the rookies that were good shooters just a year ago, they've all struggled with the new ball. My issue is that these posters have everyone not named Green improving their shooting except Green just because they didn't like HOU drafting him.
Lots of good from Green tonight. If the defense isn’t set he can’t be stopped. He needs to work on his subtle moves to lure in the defense and then blow by his man. Very impressed with his defense tonight. Very active lots of steals, deflections and stayed in front of his man.

Forgot that KIdd wasn't a shooter starting out, he developed a shot later in his career....... Shooting is something that can only be evaluated season by season and not game by game...... There is hardly a rookie that is shooting lights out every month of a 5 month season. We all acknowledged that Lucas helped Green with his shot, and it looked better. Well, most.
Green has hit at least three 3 pointers in five straight games. More importantly, he looks very comfortable getting to and finishing around the rim. HIs defense is also greatly improved. He's made a lot of progress.
5 rebounds and 4 steals tonight. Pretty soon you’re going to have to admit that Green has been playing much, much better recently.
