    1) We're way beyond the halfway point. There are only about 24 games left -- we're about 70% done.
    2) We need to lose as much as possible and there are some scary games coming up.
    3) We suck, so it's not like we have much of a choice.

We really really really should tank at this point. I don't think we have actually tried to lose yet. It's all just been a byproduct of sucking. But at this point I really wouldn't mind it. Too much at stake.

They should be tanking, then again their godawful GM SHOULD have traded away Wood and Gordon for whatever he could get for them and shouldn't have done a buyout with Schroder so that the young guys could get as many minutes as possible during the tank.....so I think it's safe to say that the team is run by morons, meaning you can't count on them doing anything right.

We need to lose. I'd be happy going 0-24.

1-23 with the lone win against Brooklyn is my hope.

Probably win too many games tbh.

Dennis is a menace to our tanking.

I'm guessing a finish of about 7-17, finishing as the third worst team in the NBA. Good for top 4 odds but worst case scenario puts us at 7 in a 6 man (if Sharpe enters) draft.

We are going to lose games regardless of who we put on the floor. Tanking is a given. This team doesn't have to try to tank. They will just lose games.

My only concern is that the team foolishly wins just enough games to take away any chance of finally getting a franchise caliber player.

My philosophy is that the term “tanking” can have the connotation of intentionally trying to lose. I don’t believe in that. If that’s “tanking” I’m not pro tank. What I am is pro development. I think when you are rebuilding you try to get your young players minutes and develop them regardless of whether that gives you a better chance to win the game. You play to win the game, but a rebuilding team’s season long objective is to get better. A rebuilding team can only do that if you they are developing your young players; that means playing them major minutes.

so I can sleep at night on the tank. If we outperformed our draft position because guys like Green, KPJ, Martin, etc we’re getting better then I’d be okay with that. Besides, you can always sh#t the bed with the lottery balls. But giving vets big minutes over developing players to win now doesn’t make sense.

I don't care if the Rockets are #1, #2 or #3 and get whoever
remains of Jabari Smith, Chet, Banchero.

My preference is in that order:
    #1 Jabari Smith
    #2 Chet
    #3 Banchero

Because I feel the Rockets could play Jabari or Chet at
    3 (SF) 4 (PF) or 5 (Center)

Banchero mostly at 4 (PF) or 5 (Center)
