Meh, I don't blame him. He wants to stay in Portland and their only hope is to blow everything else up.

I don't think anyone wants CJ though. What do you get for an undersized over-30 scoring guard who doesn't do much else and has 70mm 2years left on his deal? Nothing that good.

Portland is currently 13-22 and 14th in the West, and no one says sh*t

Dame averaged 18 ppg in a 1st round sweep to the Pelicans, and it was crickets

this man gets zero criticism and has no expectations…he must love that

    Seriously.
he is being put in the same tier as Curry, Harden, Irving, Paul, . . .hell even Westbrook is held to a higher standard

He has been surpassed by Ja, Trae, Luka,
Hell LaMelo and Lonzo are nipping at his heels.

Lillard and CJ's upside was the same as Wall and Beal

    Goodness gracious. Right now:

    21/22: $39 million
    22/23: $42 million
    23/24: $45 million
    24/25: $48 million player option

By the time 2025 hits Lillard would be about 34-35 years old.

He'll get that money from someone, or the max they can offer.

“players go to even worse places like OKC”…Dame with the ringing endorsement for the city of Portland

Dame mentioned that players go to Milwaukee…the only reason anyone would go to Milwaukee is because of Giannis, and last I checked, Dame isn’t in his league

Who went to OKC tho? Paul George was a trade. He re-upped, but a year later was ready to leave

Dame, you’re just not that guy, I’m sorry…Idk what Portland is thinking they’re about to accomplish with all that cap space

this dude hits 2 shots in the 1st round, and then gets this reputation of being an assassin or playoff killer…meanwhile he shoots 41% from the floor for his playoff career and has masterpieces like 18 ppg in a sweep by the Pelicans and 22 ppg on 37% in the WCF as he got swept by GS with no KD…Harden averaged 35 against them with KD playing most of the series, and he “choked” while it was crickets for Dame showing that there’s levels to this

oh, and CJ carried his ass in game 7 against Denver as he was busy going 3-17 for 13 points

Idk why Dame gets any attention…it’s easy for him to stay “loyal”….nobody views him as a player who needs to win a ring or it’s a failure because he’s not on that level

I hope he backs his words.

I think a departure in any form would be disappointing at this point.

    Let's See . . next season is 22-23 / / then 23-24
I would be shocked if he still there in the 24-25 season . . . barring injury
