Chad Ford, insightful Insider, said yesterday, (the deal - SF/CM/KC) "sounds like a fantasy trade every other General manager would veto. We know John Wiesbrod is a hockey guy, but even he should know this is a terrible deal for the Magic. If the Rockets pull this off, pencil them in for the Western Conference Finals."

Ford is right. Pencil Rox in for the WC Finals. But first, how to fix the roster imbalnce of back up 1s and back up 4s?

TE and Spoon or Mo for CWebb?
TE and Spoon or Mo + Pike (or Ollie) for CWebb and Christie?

TE and Pike (or Ollie) + Howard for Thomas and Mutombo?

Pike (or Ollie) + Mo for Stack and Laettner?

Got to be better balancers out there.

Come on, why would Sac take that crap for CWebb?

Seriously, what is up with everyone smoking so much crack on these forums lately. It is reaching epidemic proportions.

Why on earth would Sacramento do either one of those trades, especially the one involving Christie?

Money. It would clear 7 mil off their books.
Chemistry. CWebb has apparently all but created a 'Peja or me' conundrum in Sactown.

Money is also the reason why we should not trade for CWebb. His salary would kill our chances of resigning Yao or any other players needed.

actually we have Bird rights on Yao - so no matter what, we can offer him more $$$

That may be true but the owner still has to write the checks. I would rather have younger , healthier players to use the money on than a broken-down, bad attitude, disappear in the playoffs CWebb.

Where did you find this "Peja or me" info? I have never ever heard of such a thing. The Kings regard Webber as their emotional leader and I find it hard to believe he would create such an uncomfortable situation as "Peja or me". Please provide an authorative link (Sac Bee for example).

Money? If the Kings want to get rid of Webber that badly, most of the under the cap teams could put together something better than Spoon. The Nuggets could easily take in Webber's contract and have more options to put on the table than Spoon (whom I like as a player).

You're just not putting much thought into this. Too many late nights waiting for McGrady to land in HOU?

    Ford is an idiot.

Orlando is getting 3 good players for 2. If they waited they would have gotten nothing.

    Chad Ford...go suck an egg.

I wish I had an authoritative link. CWebb, I have been told 'reliably', trashed Peja in the wake of the play offs and created a(n unhealable?) rift between them. If true, IF TRUE, who would you pick if you were a Maloof Bro? No brainer to me.

I think Yao will sign with Rockets regardless of the price.. I'm not saying he will sign for some absurdly low amt., but he is asian, and we are loyal and the Chinese will probably go with whats familiar and have him sign with the Rockets..

just my opinion.. I don't think he would leave us.

I'd rather like to figure out how to peel Bobby Jackson off the Kings roster.

How would you like to see a backcourt of BJax and TMac?

TMac would never see the ball. Bobby Jax is Troy Hudson with game. Gilbert Arenas with game.

Obviously, I don't agree. BJax fits in just fine in Sac and he has to get the ball to Peja, Miller, CWebb, etc. I think he is a major balla and would be awesome teamed up with our big 2. However, I don't think we have anything to give Sac that would make them feel like they got better by trading away BJax.

Man, just because we could rob one team doesn't mean we can rob any team.
