Had a significant streak on the old site before they switched to the NYT.

Always start with ADIEU

 

Yay! Took me six tries but I got it lol. I might have guessed faster but I didn't pay much attention to the instructions and figured the gold letter I got on my first try was good. I kept placing the gold letter in the same spot until I got two green letters...

I like word puzzles and have a feeling these are going to be just easy enough to be fun. Thanks.

Got today's in two tries.

 

I never understood this strategy. It's easy to fill in the vowels when you know the consonants. The opposite is not true.

 

I start with "irate" typically.

 

I end up irate.

 

Irate this to thumbs down.

 

TALES is one of the better start words, not ADIEU

i couldn't get the word after several tries. i think the game gave me a virus so i would stop

 

I have tried Crane or Irate for a start but adieu sounds nice.

I had a streak going until today. Also got Tuesday's word in two guesses. I usually pick a random word for my first guess.
