    A. I don't believe you.
    B. This young lady was not forced to do this. Obviously she wanted to. Giving her an opportunity and paying her for it is not exploitation.
    C. Were you in meetings when this woke exploitation was discussed? then you have no way of knowing their intention.
    D. Once again you have no way of knowing. May corporations want to be diverse and inclusive in their hiring and marketing.

And which is it. You're ok with Elon and Bezos exploiting their works as long as they're not "woke"?

Another cringeworthy tinman thread and post.

Lol you bringing up nothing related to the Victoria secret hire proves I won

she’s not going to say no to a job. She’s a professional.

victoria secret had an image of super models before now they want to completely change that .
They believe this is the correct strategy and definitely is news catching .
they sell an image . Yeah they added plus sizes models but they can’t complete against Lane Bryant.

Victoria secret had massive scandals and are trying to woke it right

    this all for public perception
    Obviously

I countered everyone of your points A B C and all you can do is yell.... "I'm already won." Sounds like another loser favorite of yours.

Every company is concerned about brand identity and public perception. It all ties into profit. (I thought profit was a good thing) Trying to change for the better is not "woke" Unless you are in those meetings you have no proof their wokeness was an attempt at exploitation.

Trying to have a legit discussion with you is pointless. Welcome to being the first 99'er on my ignore list. My D&D experience will be much better for it.

They went from Supermodels to Down syndrome in a blink of an eye
    Why so?

    You know the answer

VS completely changed their marketing strategy and target audience last year:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2021/06/16/business/victorias-secret-collective-megan-rapinoe.html

The Victoria’s Secret Angels, those avatars of Barbie bodies and playboy reverie, are gone. Their wings, fluttery confections of rhinestones and feathers that could weigh almost 30 pounds, are gathering dust in storage. The “Fantasy Bra,” dangling real diamonds and other gems, is no more.

In their place are seven women famous for their achievements and not their proportions. They include Megan Rapinoe, the 35-year-old pink-haired soccer star and gender equity campaigner; Eileen Gu, a 17-year-old Chinese American freestyle skier and soon-to-be Olympian; the 29-year-old biracial model and inclusivity advocate Paloma Elsesser, who was the rare size 14 woman on the cover of Vogue; and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, a 38-year-old Indian actor and tech investor.

They will be spearheading what may be the most extreme and unabashed attempt at a brand turnaround in recent memory: an effort to redefine the version of “sexy” that Victoria’s Secret represents (and sells) to the masses. For decades, Victoria’s Secret’s scantily clad supermodels with Jessica Rabbit curves epitomized a certain widely accepted stereotype of femininity. Now, with that kind of imagery out of step with the broader culture and Victoria’s Secret facing increased competition and internal turmoil, the company wants to become, its chief executive said, a leading global “advocate” for female empowerment.

This fits in line with their attempt to rebrand - who knows if it will work.

All I learned - or reinforced - in this thread is that tinman is a pretty terrible human being.

You are the main person triggered by all these random topics you post in whatever misguided weird angry world you live in. You have an unhealthy obsession. Who else cares what Victoria Secret does to their brand, good or bad?

Lol if you really think Victoria’s Secret
    A luxury brand
Really cares about all of this.
Someone sold them on the idea that this will be great for the ‘image’ rebrand . If sales go down the drain they will bring back Kendall Jenner and Her friends walking around when Bruno Mars is singing

I honestly 100% wouldn't have known about this if I didn't open the D&D today lol.

The 'culture' wars have come down to M&Ms and Victoria's Secret...seems like it's jumped the shark.

The D&D is full of people reposting what they saw on cable news

The culture war is real and I only bring the news these people are too scared to talk about
    The war against comedians
    Against women swimmers
    Podcasters
    Rappers
    Apu

    it goes on

I'm not saying anything against the girl, she's doing her job and if she makes lots of money that's good
we're capitalist here not scum socialist

the reasoning from going from Trya Banks and Giselle to this new group is not done because of some sort of epiphany of diversity

Victoria Secret was VERY DIVERSE, SUPER MODELS FROM EVERY COUNTRY
    Diversity was NEVER a problem
