Dude had CJ and Nukic and Covington
He has comparable talent as Harden
    And done worse.

Dame sucks in the playoffs, completely shrivels up. Big part of why they’re a middling team is because he’s a B+, not an A level superstar.

Yep, that's probably the best way of defending the high screen. But Embiid has the ability to make jump shots, which still confers an advantage to Embiid. The big will have to try and contest Embiid. Assuming Embiid stays put and Harden hasn't lost a step, Harden can just blow by his man and now, there's no shot blocker in the paint, as Embiid's defender is on Embiid, at the top of the paint.

Going to be really interesting to see how effective the Harden/Embiid high screen is.

Strongly disagree with this post. How the hell is rolling to the basket and catching easy lobs hell on your knees as opposed to banging down low, spinning and dunking? Why would harden need to move off the ball? He is the teams playmaker. He will get joel and everyone else easier baskets. Teams will always respect him no matter if his shot is off. Are you saying teams are going to try and leave james to double embiid? LOL. This aint ben simmons this one of the most lethal offensive forces in history. Since when is the key to a championship surrounding a superstar with role players? You acquire as many stars as possible. You think adding role players from a losing organization like sacremento would make the sixers better? Thank god youre not a GM.

You can smell the fear from the OnlyHaters.

They can sense Harden is about to return in a big way. They can feel it in their bones.

Cuz you jump and dunk on lobs. The lob means you throw it high in the air smh. If you spin and dunk thats just as bad as catching lobs but at least thats not every play which is what will happen with Embiid as the role man.

Surrounding a superstar with elite role players is how Giannis, Hakeem, Tim Duncan and Dirk won their rings. Even MJ arguably since Pippen mostly acted as a superglue guy. You have no clue of the history of the NBA.

Sure if you got Giannis or KD available you pair him with Embiid, but Harden isnt a complementary star like those guys. He is someone who needs the rock to be effective and he has issues sharing the ball with Dwight, Cp3, WB, KD and Irving. You want the ball in your best player's hands majority of the time, thats Embiid not Harden. Why does Embiid need Harden to get him ez buckets? Embiid has higher TS% than Harden lol its him who will get Harden ez buckets.

Big Fendi needs to ring the bell on March 10th against BK with the same suit and tie fit on plus the shades

unfortunately, I’d be surprised if Ben Simmons actually played in that game

Lmaoo Scottie Pippen is just a glue guy now
    Hakeem played with clyde
Duncan played with robinson, parker, manu, kawhi and arguably the greatest coach of all time
Giannis plays with jrue and middleton. Middleton is on record the closer for the bucks because giannis is garbage in the clutch

Harden is going to give Embiid easy looks because Harden LEADS THE LEAGUE IN ASSISTS

Morey hoping to recreate magic with Harden in Philly
I think Morey lost value in that trade deal
Let’s see if Harden can do it in the playoffs.
No excuse. 76ers have good players.

Clearly a 40 million DNP-Inactive is more valuable than Harden.

Teams with "1 superstar and elite role players":
Hakeem: Went to 2, won 1 (1 with Drexler)
Giannis: Went to 1, won 1
Duncan: Went to 6, won 4 (1 with Robinson / without Manu and Tony)
    Dirk: 1

Teams with the equivalent of 2 or more superstars:
Lakers with Shaq and Kobe: Went to 4, won 3
GSW superteam: Went to 5, won 3
Miami Heat superteam: Went to 4, won 2
Cavaliers superteam: Went to 4, won 1.

Imagine ragging on someone for having "no clue of the history of the NBA" yet conveniently leaving out the teams that have been most successful in at least getting to the Finals on a consistent basis...aka a bigger part of the history you're trying to push.

Yes, you might strike lightning in a bottle and draft the next Tony or Manu with a late pick, or pick up a solid veteran like Shawn Marion or Jason Kidd at the tail end of their careers. But the most successful methods have always been to pair up superstar(s) with other superstar(s).

Was Scottie Pippen a "Superstar"? He is ranked some 20 spots above Harden in ESPN all time list.

Just curious where Bulls fall in this calculus

I would say his return doesn't mean a lot. What will mean a lot is what he does in the playoffs.

What the rest of the regular season means for the “haters” is totally dependent on what happens.

If Harden and the 76ers dominate the rest of the regular season then the regular season will be “meaningless”. “Playoffs/title or bust” yada yada yada.

If Harden and the 76ers crumble or slow down in any way the rest of this year then the regular season will all of a sudden mean A LOT. “See!!! He sucks!! Hahahahha”

You're 100% right that for Harden and the 76ers, the playoffs is the real barometer of success or failure.

But for NBA fans it'll certainly be entertaining watching how they mesh together.

I really hope Simmons plays on 3/10 vs PHI. If KD, Simmons, Irving, Embiid, & Harden all plays, it's going to bigger and more anticipated than this past super bowl (for me) lol.

As much as the world wants to see Simmons play in Philly, likely he'll [smartly] skip that game. He doesn't seem like an attention seeker like Miami Lebron.

Didn't include the Bulls because I didn't think I needed to. But yes, the Bulls can count in that category of 2 more or superstars, too.

MJ and LeBron basically count as 2 superstars, just by themselves, so...
