    probly because they hold onto the hope that maybe Hill will give up and that 45 mil will come off their books. that's what i think was going through their heads...and i'm pretty sure the bobcats wouldn't have even thought about picking him anyways....kinda feel sorry for Grant Hill right now

    the bobcats dont have the #2 do they? They have the #4....or was that deal with the clips going through? Man i just want us to get Mcgrady and have it done with.


    And they better not give up Nachbar.....hes gonna be a good one, i just know it.

    NBA Comparison: Jim Jackson

    Strengths: Very smooth combo guard. Played point his first two seasons, and can legitimately play the point guard position. Excllent ball handling ability and composure. A smart player with great maturity. Passes well, and has a solid overall game. Has a quick first step and takes players to the basket well or can find an open man off the drive. Strong character guy, not arrogant. Really passes well of the drive.

    Weaknesses: He doesn't do anything amazingly well, very solid, but he isn't fantastic at anything, Must continue to develop his game. Needs to become a little more selfish and take over offensively. A little better in the half court set, than on the break. He can definitely improve on is finishing with authority.

    Notes: Reece once was held scoreless for the first 29 minutes and ended up with 26 in a last-second win.

    T-Mac and Yao is one of the most talented cores in the NBA (assuming the trade goes through). However, I can't help but believe that this puts the Rockets into somewhat of a rebuilding mode to find the type of role players and bench depth to surround #1 and #11. Right now, we're losing 3 starters and gaining one definite starting caliber player (McGrady). So, if the transaction of Francis, Mobley, and Cato for McGrady, Howard, Lue, and Gaines takes place, we'll still have a few holes to fill (potentially).

    Lue / M. Jackson / Wilks
    McGrady / Gaines / Piatowski
    J. Jackson / Nachbar / A. Griffin
    Taylor / Howard
    Yao / ???

    Now, as I see it, our biggest areas of need on this team would be a starting-caliber quarterback-type point, and a solid back-up center; although the power forward position still could use an upgrade.

    Does anyone know when Howard's contract is up?

    Pretty late, but this is one nice trade for us. I hope we don't have to give up Nachbar. I like Gaines. He has some potential.

    Has anyone seen Gaines play in the NBA? Or Seen him play in college? Doesnt anybody find it odd orladno left him unportected and basically said if charlotte doesnt draft him we can basically have him. With so much potential orlando doesnt seem to be giving him much of a chance to play.

    For a last place team to basically throw away one of their prospects seems kinda weird to me. Just because Gaines was a first round draft pick doesnt mean hell become a good player or even a good role player. Though it was his rookie season, he still barely got any minutes on a last place team.

    Can anyone give any insight on his game because many of us believe boki will become a good player while Gaines seems like a complete bust.
