He’s on a team that is positioned to go to the playoffs with home court in the first round. Utah has been good throughout his tenure there. Things could be much worse.Has something happened or do we just expect players to want out of Utah after 5 years?

 

Let’s say they’re willing to take Wood, EGO and one or two first for Zion. Does that change things? Agree each of them come with baggage. Definitely not interested in Dame. Mitchell plays Green’s spot. If there’s a reasonable play for Zion, both sides knowing the risks I think you consider it.

 

He's 6'6" 315 lbs and already having foot surgeries at 21 years old. I can't think of a less appealing trade target. I think Mitchell takes EGO, filler and three firsts. He can play PG a little, but if it took swapping out one of those firsts for Green, I'd likely do it. They would need to be ready to improve the team over the next year, though. But I think with one of Paolo/Chet/Griffin this summer and whatever they can do with $50M cap space next summer, they would be well on their way.

KAT needs to be the target. Minn will continue to miss the playoffs his entire career.

 

They're in good position to make it this year and they probably will

 

KAT and Sengun would fit nicely too. I’m just worried KAT is an empty stats guy

 

If they do make it in they will likely be swept in the 1st round. KAT’s spent 7 years there can’t imagine he wants to waste his whole career.

 

i mean sure. that's true for any low seed entering the playoffs but the point was he's on track to make it this year, which you claim he's going to miss it his entire career. And Anthony Edwards continuing improvement into his 2nd season is showing their pairing isn't negative and are now trending up.
