So Houston could be a middle / bottom of the pack in the West team … 1st round exit and picking between 13-17

Some of y’all will settle for mediocre vs tearing something down and starting over.

I rather start over and become Phx or Denver .. than be Portland

1 more season of intentional losing.

Then there is probably no more point

The sad part is I don’t think this is intentional. I really truly think Stone, Fert, and Silas think this is a good team that should try to win games and maybe with a pickup like Schroeder or an extended Christian Wood will be a good play in level team. I think they’ve drank their own cool aid at this point.

the Nuggets never started over. Their worst season this past decade was 30 wins. They were never rock bottom like what you want the Rockets to be. They drafted their franchise player in the second round.

So green is the worst player on the team?

They also have not sniffed the finals. I think depend on what your ultimate goal is. To be good year in year out or to be a contender every year

People on here act like Mobely is carrying the Cavs. We know damn well if he was playing for us and putting up 14 pts and 8 boards he would get just as much hate as green gets.

I love it when we lose. Who are we kidding we need top draft picks.

I couldn’t care less about wins/losses this season. I just want KPJ & green to develop. I also want to give KPJ until the end of next season as he seems to be catching on to the point guard position

If we aren’t competing for a play in game next season I’m gonna be mad. This year was all fun and games but these kids need to take this **** serious next season

True. Green has a TON of growing up to do as does Mobley who has a little less. But it’s too early in the game to call whats what as careers go. Waaaay Too early

umm how far the Nuggets have gone is irrelevant. Jokic is inarguably a top 5 guy you build around. And he was drafted by a team that was trying to lose year in and year out- which is how this discussion started.

He looks better because his team is better…

Yup. I'd rather have Green, Sengun and Chet/Jabari with prime Escobar money coming of the books.
the only problem is the coaches not knowing what to do with them.

According to multiple metrics, yes... though it's probably more accurate to say he's the most detrimental player to the team because it's a combo of him being terrible and him being pushed so much.

Most players as awful as him would barely see the court till they learned how to play basketball.

So there's probably worse players, they just end up hurting the team less and looking better due to more proper roles on the team

Yep. And imo they lost their opportunity to trade-in chips for a star player. their all in move was Aaron Gordon.

I think we will be a bottom 3 team this season and a bottom 10 team next season.

Not really sure what Wall is going to do but there’s a chance we start competing again next season but I would bet on the other side.

According to PattyTits, "2-10 because Stone is a genius whenever he pulls a quarter out of my ear"

Wow. I think Stone likes the team from a development standpoint, and that it is a good bet that some of the rookies, KPJ, and KMJ will become better players. I think Stone is willing to take chances on high draft picks trying to find a stud (i.e., it is better to whiff and keep getting early picks than find someone who won't be great). I am pretty sure he did almost nothing to make a balanced roster that had some chance of winning games this year other than a rookie being amazing.

On Fert, I have no idea what he thinks.

On Silas, he's a coach, and probably follows the "Ours is not to reason why, ours is but to do and die" mantra. He plays the hand he's dealt. He may suck at poker, but so far, we only know how he plays with 7-2 offsuit.
