LOL THIS GUY isnt even a good college 3 pt shooter and people are dying to have him.... whats gonna happen when he hits nba where its a lot harder to hit a 3?
in the presence of stepien silas nothing is really effective...so it doesnt really matter... btw did you know that jalen green shot 3 pt better in g league than paolo banchero in college?
I was saying this a few months ago but was completely wrong, here's where they differ. Paolo is known as a hard worker. Paolo has an incredibly high BBIQ. Paulo is an elite passer for his position. I honestly think he has one of the highest floor's out of any player I've watched from the past two years ( I wasn't paying attention before because it didn't pertain to the Rockets, every game I watch it's about fit here). He, to me is bust proof. The shooting has been underwhelming from three but the form looks good. My main concern with him is his effectiveness without the ball. WE already have KPJ who is ball dominant, Sengun who is better with the ball in his hand and Green who can't get the ball. Additionally I think he's an average defender. The Rockets probably need an elite defender and I'm not sure he'll ever be that. All of this combined say why I would take him at three but, he's not my #1 and I have my top 2 way above him as far as fit For the Rockets big board I have. I have Chet (who has a ceiling so high it's through the roof but has a basement floor due to his frame which could lead to serious injury concerns over the long run) and Jabari (who has a similar floor to Paolo which is rare and a higher ceiling) at 1A and 1B Paolo at 3 AJ Griffin at 4. AJ has Jimmy Butler type of upside. He's become an overrated defender but the effort will be there and the shot is as good as it gets. A bit undersized (listed at 6-6, I think he's shorter) at the SF position but has good length. He's a bit slow footed but gets where he needs to be eventually. He's also enormous and cannot be moved. Would add to the thickness. Overall I'd probably put Ivey at 3A and Paulo at 3B with AJ Griffin at 5 but for the Rockets I like Paolo more because of his fit, floor and ceiling. Ivey just would be completely redundant with KPJ and Green, who to me need to be kept around.
"Do we have to suit up coach"? I want to see Jalen Green score 50, and show the league hes coming. Would be funny, as it goes into OT. But there going to get slammed.
