All Statmuse did was post a short clip titled "fun fact." Not really clickbait. It's not like it was titled "Westbrook is better than Curry?!?!" or something.

Redick getting into his feelings too much.

He’s right. I would trade Street Clothes.
And watch him stay injured/lose on his new team.

Well the problem is it leads into more misinformation and miseducation. You're gonna have even more casuals saying WB is shooting better than Curry and then they spread it to all their friends etc etc eventually even WB hears it and believes his own hubris. "Why's everyone down on me? I shoot better than Steph Curry!"

Lakers Could Have Traded Russell Westbrook Without Outright Giving Up Pick, Not Ready To Give Up On Him

The Los Angeles Lakers had an offer from the Houston Rockets of John Wall for Russell Westbrook that would not have included their 2027 first round pick. The Lakers reportedly were not ready to give up on the idea of the team figuring out to play with Westbrook, and may even be ready to do so heading into next season.

"The way I heard it was it could have been done for a first round pick, but it was even suggested they could have done it for a pick swap," said Ramona Shelburne on The Hoop Collective podcast. "I don't know the details of what that swap could be like, or how that would even work.

"It would have been John Wall for Russell Westbrook and a draft consideration," said Brian Windhorst. "There could have been first rounders moving, but it wouldn't have been losing a first rounder maybe?"

"Let's put it this way," continued Shelburne. "They would have had to incentivize Houston to do the trade with some kind of draft compensation. I think it was even less than what people have assumed.

"But I think the Lakers are not ready to pull the ripcord on that Russell Westbrook experiment. I think they feel like the team, the coach, the coaching staff, everything has not done enough to say this isn't going to work. Russell Westbrook is a future Hall of Famer. There are different ways of being used. And some of this is on Russ too. Russ can still change more too. But I think they feel they gave up so much to get him and he is a really talented player if used correctly. And he has not been used in any kind of way that's he comfortable with, or has been used, or been good before. We can argue forever whose fault that is. I think it's a lot of both. I think both sides take some... And some of it's just reality of playing with LeBron now. It's a different setup than he's ever been in.

"I think they just feel like you can't keep changing all the time. Especially just change for just change sake. That's kind of the phrasing I've heard. Let's not make a change just to make a change. Let's make a change when we know it's going to make us a lot better.

"I've even heard this phrasing of this is probably going to be the roster next year too. Obviously a lot of the minimum contract guys will change, but I think this is what they've got. There was a couple of weird signals I've seen since that. I don't think LeBron has been a situation where he just gets told no, flat out, very often."

@J.R. you may have to retweet the Lakers organization all the quotes from Russ this season and prior seasons about changing his game. Russ is not going to change his game lol.

Lol cmon man. Lebrons made lots of mistakes and already blemished his rep multiple times like The Decision or when he went to LA.

You acting like he is a golden boy he been one of the most hated and reviled player the last decade all because he is a threat to MJ. Even the last game when he put up 26 15 8 vs GSW all people can talk about is how he choked on his last fts.

If Wall was even remotely good, the Lakers do that trade. But since they're not that dumb yet to give any up picks or swaps for a broken down Wall, they'll just give a PR statement on how Westbrook is still useful for their team.

We disagree on LeBron overall, but you couldn't have watched that game against the Warriors and thought he had even a decent game. He rebounded well, but shot poorly, turned the ball over, had a bad defensive game, bad 4th quarter, and had a mostly negative impact on the Lakers. The free-throw line choke was just the cherry on top of that poop sundae.

He had 4 turnovers compared to 8 asts. Even if you argue those turnovers all resulted in GSW buckets he still doubled the amount of offensive production he had for his team in terms of assists so how's that a negative impact? Tha'ts a net impact of 4 asts or 8 pts for his team. 15 rebs is more than just "rebounding well" lol wtf dude. That's double digit rebounds 5-7 rebs that's rebounding well that's like saying Klay Thompson scored well when he had 33 pts for the night.

Mostly negative impact? Lebron was the only one providing spacing from 3 in fact most of his misses are due to his 3 pt attempts. If he wasn't there providing spacing everyone else would have a tougher time scoring. It's the same thing with GSW with Curry and Klay there the other members have a much easier time scoring due to all the spacing the Splash bros are providing.

Bro, all is well, just admit you didn't watch the game. It happened to be on ABC, so my cheap self actually got to watch it; he had an objectively bad game. It happens.

At what point do the Lakers start looking to see if they can trade AD for another star that can actually stay on the court?

Anthony day-to-Davis is always out with something, it’s ridiculous

The funny thing is AD is supposed to be their young building block as both Westbrook and Lebron are on the wrong side of 30, Lebron closer to 40.
