seems unscathed by teammates. they've got smoke for James but not the guy who has barely played this year by his own choice.

I'm kind of doubting the story Nash and KD wanted a free flowing offense, I'm guessing similar to GS. KD balked at that style in GS and said it didn't work all the time when the game slows down and preferred ISOs. why wouldn't they just play the way they played last year ? no need to reinvent the wheel. you had the most efficient offense in history.

Ahh didn't realize he was 13, though he was number 1 for some reason. Thanks.

I disagree with Kyrie's position on vaccine mandate, just like I did with Wiggins, Beal etc but like it or not it's their personal choice. The Nets players responded much like how Curry, Iggy, Draymond responded when Wiggins balked at taking the vaccine. The only difference is, Kyrie was committed enough to accept the consequences of losing 15+ million dollars, while Beal and Wiggins capitulated.

Furthermore, Kyrie being a dumbass doesn't absolve Harden or ANY other player on the team of also being a dumbass.

As for the offense, I'm not sure how much that played into it and would probably guess its a combination of the Nets focusing more on defensive players in the offseason, Harden having difficulties with the spacing, roster and injuries to key players. I doubt KD wanted a full fledge GS Warriors offense, but simply one with more movement and flow, especially since the Nets were without Kyrie and then Harris most of the season.

Crazy how many hit pieces are coming out on Harden. He had legitimate reasons to leave the Nets. Kyrie is a clown and turned that team into a circus that won't win anything.

He happens to be the new hotness since everyone is done clowning on Kyrie and Simmons earlier in the season. Definitely Harden's rep has taken a hit, but it's not like the other two have gotten any better. Do see Simmons getting pity points for 'escaping' the big bad Philly crowd tho.

Lol @ Harden fans complaining about “hit pieces”. You guys lack some serious self awareness just like your guys hero. Harden brought this all on himself. He’s the one that decided to quit on 2 teams in less than 13 months. He’s the one that demanded to be sent to his preferred destinations both times like an entitled brat. He’s the one that gave up on the Nets 2 weeks after talking some BS about how he’s back and how great the Nets are.

All the stories coming out about him being late, coming and going to team functions as he pleased cause he was busy partying, not being able to get along with other superstars…. Eerily familiar to his time with the Rockets. Now ask yourself are these all just a coincidence? Do these sound like “hit pieces” or just actual facts about Harden being Harden? Maybe if he were more solid for this weird azz era there wouldn’t be so many “hit pieces”. Harden fanbois will make sure to convince themselves he’s the victim in all this. Anyone that merely criticizes him or mentions anything that’s not positive is deemed a hater. Most delusional group of Onlyfans ever.

Embid needs to be careful before he quits on him.

Harden’s BS already rubbing off on Embiid. One would think when you shoot 33% from three you’d try to make the shot easier not more difficult. Or maybe he shoots 33% cause he thinks that’s a high percentage shot. Clueless either way.

Harden not opting in to his option is a huge deal; I bet Morey and Harden have some kind of under the table extension already planned. Lol good luck with paying Harden 55M in a couple of years

Morey basically said originally Harden / Simmons should have been a 3 team deal with Rockets.

Tilman stopped all that from happening haha.

Harden said he wanted Philly from the start.

Daryl: Very excited. Josh & ownership have been behind Doc and the front office 100 to do whatever it takes as Doc says to be the winner.

Doc and the coaching staff and the players have put us in a spot as we made this trade, we’re positioned to go on a run.

Having a MVP and someone on pace to be MVP is exciting. All the hard work happens from here. Haven’t accomplished anything yet. Happy Doc, a champion, is here leading us.

Why did you want out of Brooklyn and why Philly?

James: Originally when going through things in Houston, Philly was my 1st choice. Don’t want to get into Brooklyn situation. This was a perfect fit. Best big man in Joel. Top to bottom it made sense. Happy and blessed I’m here.

    Clarify opt-in?

Still have the opportunity to do so.

What can Embiid do for your game and vice versa?

We compliment each other. … Wish I was playing tonight. After the break, we’ll get things going.

Daryl: Our focus is to win now. Our focus was to keep as many of the great players we could. Making sure Maxey/Thybulle were here. We have a bunch of young players contributing. Paul Reed, Isaiah Joe, Shake Milton, we have things in position to win now and players on their improvement curve. Comfortable we’re where at now and going forward.

3 teams in 14 months. Why?

Wasn’t planned like this. 14 months I didn’t see myself on 3 different teams but we are where we are. …

I am actually not mad at Tilman for doing this if it is all true.

He does not think Steve Nash is a coach.....or Sean Marks is a good GM.

Yeah this free flowing offense is BS, Durrant and Kyrie are 2 of the most ISO heavy guys in the NBA and Harden was the only guy who shots and usage rate went down since he went to Brooklyn and anybody who watched Harden in Houston and then in Brooklyn realized he started facilitating a lot more and passed up shots.

I think KD has been leaking **** to mid level "reporters" so he can take up for his boy Kyrie, there is nothing on tape that says Harden did not change his game up the most since he came to Brooklyn and this free flowing offense thing is total BS, if Harden was not there nobody else would be involved in the offense.

Harden has reached out to Doc Rivers before to be his coach. Hmm interesting.

Why did that not happen? (trade to Sixers last year)

    I don’t know.

    Option to choose?

Wish it worked like that. Organization has to do what’s best for their team. I had to go to Brooklyn. … Here I am today.

Uncertainty around Kyrie play a part?

Very minimal honestly. We’re good friends. Whatever he’s going through is his personal preference. It was unfortunate we played 16 games. It is what it is. Philly is an opportunity I’m looking forward to.

How’s your physical conditioning and how is your hamstring?

Hamstring feels really good. Collaborative decision (to sit until after the ASB). To my conditioning, it’s great. But nothing like basketball conditioning. Something I have to incorporate.
