Apparently people don’t like the name commanders

 

That team will never be called that old name again. I promise you.

 

Same as it was before, removing American Indian imagery from our popular culture is anti-helpful, but the name 'Redskins' was kinda ick and isn't coming back.

 

I was curious enough to show ignored posts and, of course, it was tinman posting a video of some guy ranting into a camera about how the name should be changed back to Redskins while citing fallacies that you learn to spot in one day of LSAT prep. The name is never coming back for practical reasons: the team needs a new stadium and the city of DC would never allow them to return if they went back to the Redskins name.

Beyond that, it's a dumb hill to die on. It's a bunch of boomers like tinman screaming "LET ME CALL YOU THAT" into the void.

 

Yeah but there was a Native American mentioning that they erased all Native American themes from sports

 

Removing American Indian racial slurs is good, though. This was never a difficult choice.
