No to a guy who plays no defense. Also no to a guy speaking against fascism at CPAC …which is actively supporting fascism.

This reminds me about the outrage against the Rockets when we didn't start Royce White

Absolutely, since I live in China I get the full experience and have to deal with all the government BS and meddling whilst I'm just trying to do my job. Not to mention some of the freedoms that we take for granted back home, most people don't even consider here because they don't even know.

But I don't think Kanter is truly speaking out because he believes in what he says, I think he just likes to be in the limelight, and that kind of "activism" bothers me immensely. Also the people he associates himself with are questionable.

If Enes Kanter gets blackballed he can't play in China, Turkey his own homeland.

Is he going to go Euro league is close to Turkey and Turkey could send hitmen on him.

Maybe play in Mexican, Puerto Rico League

Naw, I dont think its anything like that.

conservatives just want to make anything trend for the outrage clicks. They just tried to say people were canceling Adele (for being transphobic) because she said she loves being a woman. They weren't.

Our own defense is abysmal, his play on defense would actually have been a considerable upgrade. Ironic that we are just that bad at the moment.

World B. Free’s last season in the NBA was in Houston, coincidentally.

He was a significantly better player than Kanter/Freedom. Because of his name, I’d never actually paid attention to his stats. Thought he was a bench warmer. He averaged over 30 points per game for a season and a career average over 20 ppg. In his last season in Houston he even had a 38-point game against Sacramento.

Great midrange shooter that didn't do much else. Still a good player overall. He was traded to the Clippers for a #1 draft pick.... that draft pick was Charles Barkley.

Enes Kanter (I refuse to call him "Enes Freedom") is just another clout chaser. Plus he has sucked in the NBA for years, especially on defense. Clout chaser + mediocre/bad player is not a good combination to have for survival in this league. I think most if not all NBA teams will steer clear of him from now on. Too risky, both on-the-court and business-wise. If he does manage to sign somewhere it'll be as a bench warmer.
