thats what coaches do, he teaches, he inspires motivates and whispers...he rewards good defensive play... if he cant do it then what is the point of silas? and in fact he did the opposite, he punished alpi for playing awesome defense at the start of the season loloolol what example sets this for the entire team? alpi was so awesome on defense that people started wondering and questioning the good judgement of nba scouts for not ranking alpi higher and ridiculing them for thinking alpis defense may be his weak spot...

Alpee has been fouling at the highest level known to man the whole season. If it's Silas fault for Sengun's terrible defense, then shouldn't Silas be credited for everything else, like his passing? You seem to pick & choose what 2 blame Silas for lol
You can't teach a horrific defender how to not foul. Just like a coach can't teach a player how to make shots lol. You're making excuses because Sengun has been atrocious lately. For every assist highlight, is a clip of him getting dunked on, blown by or turning the ball over lol
Because they can't touch his passing but they have been walking all over his defense. At the beginning of the season he was a way better defender, but now he adopted the "if you don't foul you'll stay on the floor and nobody cares for defense anyway" approach. It's obvious this is dictated by the coaches, and Wood leads by example.

i was so right in calling in for alperen to hit g league for months now and get some real games under his belt... not playing basketball will stunt his development... if i am alpi i am asking out of this shithole
