    Just being against ice fishing is heretical here in the Frozen Tundra. He's not just risking ridicule he's risking his political and personal future.

    All of that said he might not be that wrong. I've heard it on good authority that a lot more goes on in ice shanties than fishing. And if you see some of what passes for a "shanty" yes you can do a lot in them.
