Nope, but refusing to do one indicates they do not want to play for the team. Suggs wouldn't workout for the Rockets either. They both have the same agent

i don't think that indicates it at all. Players get drafted to teams that don't work out for them every year

I'm not upset with this recent draft, I think Green is a STAR. He is averaging 14 points a game and the other top rookies Barnes, Wagner and Cade is only averaging 15 points a game, You can see Green have gotten better the past 10 game with turnovers and playing with the ball in his hands. I still think he is going to do well in the slam dunk contest, have five game with 30+ points and shoot better with his 3's later in the season. Sengun is a STUD but needs more playing time and shoot more. Josh Christopher is a STUD he could average more points a game if he played more. Honestly, they need to buyout Gordon so he can go to playoff team. We need to lose almost every game on our schedule because of the draft and Gordon does not like to lose....Man this is going to be awkward in the lock room and when the players speak at the end of the game...............

Yeah imagine if the Warriors didn't draft Steph Curry because his whole team was trying to push him to New York.

So you would have traded KPJ for a bag of peanuts then drafted Mobley? So Mobley, maybe Sengun, maybe JC. Maybe they wouldn't have drafted Sengun or JC. So Mobley, Unknown, Unknown.

Do you really think Mobley would have the same numbers with the Rockets without KPJ and Green as he does in Clevand? Do you really think Green would have the same numbers he does if the Rockets had a true point guard and played KPJ at the 3? A coach that didn't park Green at the 3 point line. A center that actually knew how to set a screen. People like to look at it as just Green v Mobley. It isn't that simple.

Man I'd be with you on those 30 point games, but I'm not so sure since the lineup isn't changing. Therefore, the coaching "scheme" (whatever the hell that is) isn't changing.

Green usually goes off when is playing against top drafted player so he should play a nice game today.

Yes, I think Mobley would have made a difference. His defense is off the charts and if our owner and GM weren’t si cheap minded we would have kept Jarrett Allen. All you have to do is look at Cleveland’s record and you’ll know we f’ed up. Keep in mind we would have Wall playing with Mobley and Allen (and Tate//Gordon). Lineup:
    Wall
    Gordon
    Tate
    Mobley
    Allen

I actually like Allen and wanted to keep and extend him. But honestly, what would that team accomplish? First, maybe second round exit and then Wall and EGo age their way out of the league?

Why Stone recruits so many players that no team want to take?

Wait we were talking about the draft. Allen was traded way before that PLUS the chances of keeping the pick if we had Allen is less so Mobley wouldn't have been on the Rockets.

I'm in the camp that Allen wouldn't have helped the historically bad Rockets team at least no more than Dipo did. The Cavs did pick 3rd after all.

Not even Curry became Curry until the Warriors got rid of Monta Ellis and Mark Jackson.

To be fair, a large part of that was due to how injury prone he was.

I agree, we have Wall, we are paying to sit at home, we have Gordon who we really don't need at this stage, and we could have flipped for a pick, we have 13 players under 6'5" out of 18, we are short, we suck, and our coaching lacks intensity and seems inadequate.

    This team is a mess.

If Stone asks Tilman to buyout Gordon when he could have gotten a late first for him, then Tillman should fire his ass on the spot. That’s ridiculous. Because even if the pick is last in the 1st round, you could trade it, draft & stash a foreign prospect or hell just sell it. Buying out Gordon is admitting incompetence on Stone’s part.

Just popped in to laugh at any of you who expect a polished, winning product this early in a floor-to-ceiling rebuild.

The writing was on the wall from the moment Tilman chased MDA away, Morey decided it was time to go, Russ left to screw up another team, and Harden pouted his way out of town. Then Tad Brown decided to to bail a bit later.

I said it then and I'll say it now, and next year, and the year after: We will not contend until 2025 at the very soonest, and that's if everything goes well. Hell, if we make the play-in next season, I'll be shocked.

But yeah, go ahead and whine that things should be better, just know that you'll be whining quite a bit longer.
