That all-star draft is such amazing content. The pettiness and everyone but KD laughing all the time was just so funny
one thing i respect about harden, is he is not apart of that go along, get along gang.( that kwame brown talks about about on youtube) You gonna diss im, thats cool with him.. which actually says a lot because you cant even critisize kevin durant without that sissy running to his momma for backup lol those dudes at tnt have been trying to get in hardens head for years, it dont work like that. Harden is not dwight, or kd. He is gonna continue to play ball his way. Call him "the dribbler", shaqtin a fool mvp.. it doesnt phase harden, he is still in position to recieve one of the biggest contracts ever this summer
durant and lebron are with nike wouldnt be shocked if dame left adidas to run to nike as well, i could care less, tnt has gotten players to dog the **** outta harden for years. He is still gonna gonna sign that extension this summer
lol no it isn't. rings are all people care about at the end of it all. imagine how people would look at dirk if the mavs never won one. no one would care he stayed in dallas. plus people bag on james extra hard already. james is the face of flopping even though it was around long before him and he certainly wasn't the only one to take advantage of the rules. he's called a choker when he never had the talent around him in houston that lebron, or steph has had. people move goal posts to bash him. he wants it, he needs it, and kyrie didn't care enough to make it happen. i said early in the year, if kyrie did not willingly get vaxxed for teammates, as opposed to only being able to play through a loophole or mandate lifted, it would destroy the locker room. its impossible to trust a guy who wont suit up for something as silly as that. i don't blame him one bit for taking the opportunity to get on a contender that actually puts winning a title first when his window may be so short. he is 32 with a nagging hamstring injury. he doesn't have time for kyrie foolishness. i can't believe there are as many people as there are trying to bash james and not kyrie as if he was the problem. james played on one leg in the playoffs last year because he wanted it THAT BAD. kyrie takes it all for granted and doesn't give a fukk what his teammates want. the guy is 100% and only plays half time. let that sink in. james did the right thing, big picture.
https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nba/james-harden-ben-simmons-deal-the-whole-story-behind-the-trade […] Around the same time, the Nets started losing games. Harden had seemed off all season — both during games and with his comments after them — and was growing frustrated with the situation in Brooklyn. He wanted everything catered to him the way it was in Houston, especially the offense. Kevin Durant and head coach Steve Nash disagreed. Both wanted the Nets’ offense to feature ball and player movement, and Harden, upon being rebuffed, ducked into his shell at times, according to sources, and even criticized teammates and coaches to NBA insiders sitting courtside at games. "With James, if you’re not 100 percent on his side, you’re his enemy," a former Rockets staffer said. Meanwhile, the trade deadline was inching closer. Morey made it known that he’d be interested in a Harden-for-Simmons swap. In public, the Nets claimed they weren’t entertaining any deals for Harden, but in private, according to sources, the two sides started negotiating around the beginning of February. The Nets knew that Harden wanted to leave in the offseason, preferably for the Sixers, and that the Sixers wanted him. They just didn’t want the news becoming public. "I don’t need this stuff affecting our locker room," Nets general manager Sean Marks said recently. The teams tossed offers back and forth. Morey took a number of hard stances, but Thursday morning, with the deadline just hours away, he caved on most. This was one of the few times when he wouldn’t insist on holding the line. Like Shane Battier, the Nets had eventually come around. Before long, the two teams agreed to terms. Morey gave up a lot: Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond, two first-round picks and Seth Curry, who happens to be married to Rivers’ daughter, which is a pretty good metaphor for Morey’s approach. Embiid was thrilled. Harden, as part of the deal, will opt into his contract for the 2021-22 season. The fit isn’t perfect. What’s Harden going to do when Embiid is posting up? What’s Embiid going to do when Harden dances up top? Can Harden rediscover his bounce? Can he learn to play with another star? (You could build a Hall of Fame lineup of teammates with whom he has clashed.) How will Embiid react to having a teammate with a similar relationship with Rubin? But those are questions for a different day. "Daryl’s a firm believer that if you don’t have two top-15 players, everything else is meaningless," a former Rockets colleague said. He now has them. He bent the NBA to his will and remade the organization in his image. The Sixers are Daryl Morey, and Daryl Morey is the Sixers.
Just say you love other players as much as Harden and all will be good. Dayron Sharpe is already a baller.
This will play out in the Officiating. He can expect No Benefits or favors in the playoffs (not like he ever got any) Rocket River
Not unexpected I mean James is not the Harden he was on OKC Where he played 3rd fiddle to KD and Russ He feels like a peer and probably felt he should have as much say as anyone Rocket River
