Watching Durant pick his all-star team and avoiding Harden as all the guys joked about it and watching Lebron troll the entire time as Durant looked serious as ****. He salty about it. Definitely a little bit...
I actually want to see this work, just for the lolz. I am not against Harden winning a ring though. It is not like he is magically better than Durant or Giannis for that matter. I am not sure what went down between him and Durant but seems they are not the friends they used to be. I am all for good competition and good narratives.
Drummond is nearly unplayable in the postseason, not the biggest loss. Curry was still bad in the hawks series, but he still provides superb shooting. What would be funny is if the entire Simmons saga was a ploy by him to go to NYC. Imagine he reveals he's spent all the time off shooting and becomes LeBron 0.8.
Yeah, Durant is the emotional one of the OKC amigos, Russell the reckless one, Harden the conniving one.
I felt like he was pretty decent for them this year…could at least provide 10 minutes off the bench in the playoffs, no? I just want to see Simmons in a road playoff game at Philly…he might be shaking on the court
I'd like to see Harden take over a game deep in the playoffs, he has all the talent in the world to do it... But its hard to believe anything will change... Maybe this is where he belongs, he wins a couple of chips before retiring a Sixer....
Its that much? Hell nah, he will not opt-out..... Just request a trade sometime next year or the year after....
I'm sure the 76ers think they'll be better - so Doc's comments aren't relevant. I think chemistry matters - a lot. Harden will put up good numbers, but he's at his best when a system is built around him. Embiid needs a system built around him too - that's how they have been so good this year despite not having Simmons. They simply let Embiid take over (and in regards to my comment about Curry, his shooting helped create the spacing Embiid needs). How the two players work together, I have no idea. I suspect it will be like Houston with Paul and Harden - they didn't really excel together and each needed offensive systems that didn't complement the other. But the sheer amount of talent made it work. Harden has yet to successfully and happily co-exist with other star players for any period of time because his style of play simply isn't conducive to it, so it either irritates him or the other stars - we'll see if it's different in Philly.
Lol so what ended up bringing down a potential dynasty was the local politicians. Never would have guessed that would be the catalyst.
Damn Harden is the biggest QUITTER in NBA history. How do you quit on 2 nba franchises in less than 2 years? I better not EVER hear anybody saying they want this clown back in Houston
