Oh? His career BPM is positive, so is his VORP. His OnOff the last 4 years very positive. He would be a massive upgrade - but of course we don't seem to be interested in that.
He hurts a bit defensively BUT compared to the historic train wreck we are defensively he is an upgrade.

They clearly got rid of him because he causes China to ban all the games of any team he plays on.

I really don’t think so. He’s not old, he can play, I think they will take a look at him the rest of the year and see if they can sign him on the cheap after the season.

Not sure if this is sarcasm / cheeky response, but @R=$ was referring to the hit song from Disney's Encanto movie.

Every team got rid of him because he is so bad defensively.
Nobody plays him because he is empty stats.
He will never improve enough defensively to be an NBA player, so why let him "get in the way" of our young guys?

I appreciate you may have a different view, but with his polished offensive game, there is a clear reason he cannot gain significant minutes.

It is a team game. Theis was not the problem on defense when he was in there. He cared about defense.

Not sure the source of your DRTG, but NBA has him at 110.8, lower than anyone except guys with only a handful of minutes despite usually being on the court with Green.

We aren't going to keep the azzhole one beyond this season, I'm sure.

I would be happy if he never plays a minute for us. Can't stand him.

He literally just did sign for cheap. He got 5.9 million. He can ask for 84 million dollars all he wants, but that doesn't mean he is going to get it!

Stone really allowed a trade kicker when he negotiated with Theis.

    How utterly inept.

LOL Theis had a trade kicker in his contract. The same mediocre Theis that was a Rocket? Stone really put that in there. LOL

He didn't ask for 84 mil, he rejected one = he wants a bigger contract.

He signed 5.9 mil bc no offers were left.

U can bet your ass he will want a big ass contract

Me too! Doesn’t mean I’ll get one...

And yeah, I’m sure he’s gone after the season. This was a typical Rockets deadline move. I still don’t think they will buy him out though.

All I'm saying is it's wishful thinking to think a player who turned down 84 mil to play with lebron is going to want to sign cheap with us next season.

He's gonna want a lot of money, rather he gets it idk.
