    Well I guess we'll appreciate him for longer.

    I feel more bad for EG in this case. At his point in his career he probably wishes he was playing more meaningful games with playoff and championship aspirations.

    They’re tried to get a deal done and failed. They failed the the youngsters, Gordon, and the fans. They can spin it however they want.

    That's why I feel more bad about it in terms of EG's feelings on the matter. I have no issue with him staying here for the rest of the season. The young guys need solid veteran presence. No offense to Wood, but EG is by far the superior veteran presence on this team as he has much higher offensive and defensive awareness and is just generally more mature.
