When Bobo kicked the bucket I thought to myself, that sucks but hey maybe Cal would be more progressive and move the team forward. Not only is this jackass not more progressive he's bringing the team back to medieval times. Even Joan of Arc thinks this is too much.
This, as an employer you would be insane to hire anyone willing to air their boss' dirty laundry in public like that.
I'm beginning to think you are a troll or not someone arguing in good faith, or else you wouldn't be posting this non-sense. There's an entire section in Flores' lawsuit titled, "Discriminatory Treatment David Culley."
I’ve read the entire suit. Tell me where it accuses the Texans of being racist? Do you walk around all day just thinking everything is racist? Are you a nonstop victim? Flores posted this as evidence of minority coaches not having the same extended leash that others have gotten. It doesn’t accuse them of racism.
If McCown is under consideration, which clearly appears to be the case, then the Texans should let people know why they like him. I'm open-minded to at least consider the possibility that I'm missing something with his candidacy. The Texans' PR should feed a story or two to Pancakes or another journalist to prepare the battlefield in the event that McCown is hired. Because right now all of us are in the dark as to why he is a candidate. Get ahead of it and try to create a soft landing with the public if he's going to be the pick.
What part of MCCOWN HAS NEVER COACHED IN COLLEGE OR THE NFL don't you get? Jesus Christ. People are twisting themselves in knots to justify the worst organization in the NFL.
I didn't know Jack about Gannon but I wanted him bc we are not getting Flores and I don't want mccown. I hope he turns out to be like a Sean Payton
that part of the lawsuit is just talking about general things around the NFL where it is perceived that x minority coach didn’t receive a fully fair shake. It’s not an inflammatory call out of the Texans specifically. You would know that if you took the time to read it.
Gannon officially out. Flores or McCown, and I think we know where this is headed… https://www.chron.com/sports/texans...d-coach-Josh-McCown-Brian-Flores-16836168.php
America hired an outsider with zero experience to run itself. At least Josh has played in the NFL and coached high school. His administration will actually be stocked with qualified people as well.
