You can't judge draft picks in year one as obvious as it may seem to the entire planet. You just don't know what happens in 5, 6, 7 years. Injuries can play a role. And you don't know the impact on JG of having everyone say the Rockets made a mistake. That kind of thing can crush a player, or motivate them to prove everyone wrong.
