Also maybe its my biased lenses seeing this so someone who has a different take than me on Green can confirm or deny this?

From the vast majority of the scoring plays Mobley had last night it seemed like their offense creates a lot more space for Mobley to operate. Most of his attempts was on one on one attempts with no other defender or teammate anywhere near the post area where he had plenty of room to operate to the point where if he beat that one defender he has a clear lane to the bucket.

When Green has the ball someone like Wood or Ego is occupying his space to freely operate driving to the paint. Green has to navigate through multiple defenders and teammates most of the time he attempts a bucket.

I'm just wondering how much coaching is involved in their respective rookie campaigns?

I do not understand how one can look at Green and say something stupid as "no chance in hell to b a superstar" or "darko potential bust". in 36 games.

Dude is only 19 and has yet to even play half a season worth of games.

Btches about "delusional folks that want him to b the next kobe" and then post something similar on the opposite spectrum.

His highs are also very high. For example Mobley has not reached Green's career high yet. Also Green is the youngest player ever to have a 20 5 5 0 to game in league history. He's also like the 3rd youngest to score 30 pts in a game in league history.

What's also sad is that the Mobley nut huggers as Rocket fans literally just witnessed Mobley's best game of his career last night so they don't get to see the 4pts he scored the previous game.

We should have traded down to #3 and took JG there. Might have helped his chances

Is all this venom because he was drafted 2nd overall or yall truly don't think he will be any good? As previously stated a million times, the dude is 19 and scoring 13+ ppg .. People talking about his lack of strength and offensive savvy don't understand progression... . Everyone ain't built to come in and dominate early...... This video game generation is really clueless... Sad part is ,that generation I'm speaking of , is 40 years or older folks but then turnaround and say "I was there when Dream 1st played .. I've been a fan since the 80s" ... lol

More than anything, I think Green's playmaking last night is a peek of why the Rocket's thought highly of him. Driving and kicking worked out well for Green last night as he seemed like he had more of a plan of attack. It certainly helped the overall aggressiveness by the Rockets kept Jarrett Allen on the bench with foul trouble.

    8th and 12th are a No Man's Land.

Incredible how desolate those 2 spots are.

I hope he beats the odds, but it's more unlikely than likely at this point that he becomes a star or superstar.

Why reply to me if you aren't going to address any of my points?

When you stumble into this thread you quickly learn that Jalen Green cultists are waging jihad against all suspected infidels and ESPECIALLY any apostates. That's why they are always angry in here. I had a few of them whining at me earlier for saying Green had a good game and that people should avoid criticizing Green so that his cultists could have their day to celebrate.......turns out that is enough to encourage the wrath of the cult.

There's no religion around Sengun, that's why his threads are more fun.

I go back to the screens. When Wood sets a screen he takes off so soon that it creates no space or separation for Green or anyone else for that matter. The ball handler rarely gets the defender behind him because Wood slips way too fast. I’m not sure how it’s measured but we do a terrible job with it.

Silas should experiment (because that's all we're doing anyway) with Green playing the KPJ role and KPJ playing the Green role. Green seems to have more of a knack for playmaking than Porter does.
