Harden only had 4 points in a meaningful basketball game. Wow.

When was the last time Harden had single digit points in a game where he wasn't injured or where the team didn't have anything to play for? Crazy.

Nets & Lakers position are very identical. Kyrie plays some games and not, AD practically does the same with his injuries. Harden & Westbrook are turnover machines that play no defence. The main guys who run the team in KD and Bron are out. This is a picture perfect finals matchup that we’ll never get lol.

NY media are going to go all in on Harden. You are no longer in the bubble this City built around you.

Hoping this upsets Harden, he mails it in and Rockets end up with high draft picks. That would only be fair.

Stephen A still won't blast him. He hates Kyrie more than anything. He deserves a Kwame Brown slander type rant.

The final score: 112-101. Call the loss embarrassing or ugly, but at the end of the night, the streak is bigger. It’s the first six-game losing streak in Steve Nash’s history as a head coach, the first six-game losing streak in James Harden’s career, and the longest active losing streak in the NBA. For Sacto, the game ended a seven-game losing streak.

    Music to my ears.

In all honesty I actually don’t like the idea of them turning Harden into something like Simmons from the perspective of owning their picks.

The best case scenario was always that this thing goes really bad and all of their big 3 don’t extend and leave. That’s off with KD extending.

The next best was that they tie their cap up with extending/re-signing but some combination of aging/injuries and Kyrie being Kyrie leaves them as a poor capped out team with no real path to improve. In spite of many posters who don’t understand what happens to your body in your 30’s, what you have to do to combat that, and that Harden pretty clearly wasn’t doing that, the Nets being stuck with him in his mid 30s on a max extension was extremely likely to be good for us as owners of their picks. I don’t really want them to find a better use for that salary slot.
