this is a quote on the Nets reddit page Giving up 7 first round picks for 4 points and 6 turnovers is pathetic. I used to watch this dude drop 40 in his sleep. I’m someone who thinks about and prioritizes spacing and has given James Harden a pass for his inconsistent play but this is unacceptable. His effort level is not consistent with an athlete I want to root for at the moment. This should be rock bottom for this team, but I’m not sure anyone cares.
the league also changed the rules and now allow handchecking the 2021 nets were the greatest offensive team in history. They literally broke the game of basketball when they were all healthy. thx Adam
Hypothetically, given how fast Brooklyn is imploding right now, would there be any player(s) in the NBA that Houston use those Nets picks to trade for? 2022 1st 2023 Pick swap 2024 1st 2024 2nd 2026 1st 2027 Pick swap
I look at it as trade bait. If they can accumulate enough picks maybe they can find themselves with TWO high picks in a loaded draft? For me preferably next year with our top 5 pick maybe leverage some of the Brooklyn haul on that notion they will continue to bottom out and get another top 15 pick in that draft. That would be pretty awesome, but even in the terms of player trades if they identify a FA those picks are going to be the extra cherry on top to close negotiations. Its amazing to see it happening so quickly!
It’s time to have an honest conversation. James Harden is careless with the basketball and is a shell of himself, and it seems no one is holding him accountable for his actions. https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/...2uzeytoynhssgi4hcgu-story.html?outputType=amp
