The Houston Rockets won against the Cavs. They couldn't have done it without an efficient all round performance from Jalen Green.
Darko level bust they said. He's never going to play better and is what he is they said. Has nothing to offer other than running fast they said. He needs to get more assists and rebounds they said. They say a lot of things. Most of them stupid.
If he plays Mobley every night, he would probably be a top 3 rookie lol But it's also because they actually called fouls on him tonight. Impressed by his rebounding and defense also. He fought for a bunch of loose balls and won them
It has. But the odd thing is they take sides with Josh when in real life those two plan out when they braid their hair or let it flow. And while these dorks are upset that Mobley wasn't drafted, the Rockets didn't draft Green for this season. They drafted him for 2 seasons from now, when shooting guards begin to figure the league out. These posters also forget the influence Mobley senior had. He probably witness a KPJ food fight himself at some point and wanted no part of the Rockets for his son. Here is wishing KPJ and Green continue to grow, harness their potential. and be a dynamic back court for years.
Played really well tonight. He will be a good player in this league. Excited about him, Alpi and our other young guys.
NBA has him listed at the PG for the Rockets on the box score except this ain't true. I wished it was.
There are 35 players currently averaging 15/4/4....IF he can finish out the second half of the season at that level then I'd be pretty satisfied with his rookie year.
It's absolutely pathetic. Pathetic isn't a strong enough word. I've looked at other fan forums to see if everyone expects their rookies to be superstars the day they come into the league and ... nope .. Rockets fans are the only ones slandering their own rookie. Hell Pistons fans are still hoping Kylian Hayes will be a star and any slander still get's heavily downvoted.
0.0000% chance. Name one superstar that looked this bad as a rookie. You guys must have forgotten what a superstar was.
Nice to see him flash again. He has the elite natural gifts to be a superstar and works hard. He’s still learning. He will be so dangerous with more muscle and more experience. It’s great letting him learn the hard way by playing. We need to lose as many games as possible! Imagine a top 1-3 pick again next year with this group + whatever assets we get at the trade deadline + Wall’s expiring! It’s exciting to think about what will be around Green in 1-2 years time and to see him develop!
hmmm, let’s see Dirk as a rookie: 8, 3, and 1 on 41/21/77 shooting splits and 49% TS…defense was of course trash too Dirk was a superstar right? y’all love talking in absolutes Anthony Edwards was just as trash as Green for the 1st half of his rookie season…I’m sure none of y’all were calling him a bust and a bum
Name one scrub tier player to score 30, 29, 24 (twice,) 23, 22 and 21 (twice) point games as a 19 year old in their rookie season.
