C Wood's trade value is at an all-time high now. Stone should be active on the phone right now trying to get a deal done.

 

Yeah, so people really shouldn't get all up in arms about being a game or two behind Orlando or whoever. We just have to get lucky. Being the worst team does mean you can't go lower than 5, 2nd worst can't go lower than 6, 3rd worst can't go lower than 7, etc etc

But I think we are in the sweet spot of being among the 3 bad teams so it's not going to matter much anyway, we just have to get lucky and you have to think that Detroit won't be picking #1 twice in a row...I mean, that would suck.

 

Did I ever mention that @MRS_KILLATRON2000 met calvin twice at Rockets games. The 2nd time she got him to sign my Rockets cap. He signed it HOF '93.

 

He did not have a good night until the 4th but he still put up almost exact numbers as Green who had more touches.

Let's be fair to all the Rockets after this great win.

And Green may have taken that monkey off his back, HALLELUJAH BAYBEEE!

 

Mobley has a real shot to be the best player in the NBA 5 years from now. Maybe less. His ability to defend the perimeter and basically slide to the 2/3 in a 3 big lineup is ridiculous. The unicorn projection is looking spot on.

At the same time Green continues to play well when he plays aggressive. Obviously entered the game anticipating the head to head with Mobley and brought the energy. He needs to be more consistent with that and the good games will pile up.

 

naw man. Silas has been benching Sengun and Nerfing Jalen like a bozo for far too long!

Sengun got more than 15 minutes and played great!

If it wasn't for Wood's lucky ass shooting to end the game I would have been all over his ass!!

but happy for Silas. good win!

 

OKC better not choke this game away

 

People know who Gordon is. I think health would be the only concern and he’s been upright all year. Wood I think it’s probably the rockets asking more than what other teams might be willing to pay.

I’ll say I agree with this for the most part, but it’s making Jalen feel more insignificant than necessary. He had a good game, but Mobley did have a better game. They run the offense through him better than we do with Jalen.

That said, I’m glad Jalen played well and hope he can build upon it. We really need him to succeed.

 

Oh no doubt Mobley was killing him, but I'll still take him getting killed and trying to defend the bigs than running away from them. Great end to the game though for sure. Sengun actually showed some promise at times defending Mobley too which was great to see. Green with a game, KP with a game, Mathews, KJ. Lots of positives tonight. I think we needed that little pick me up after recent games.
