I feel like raining threes has a certain disdain for poor people based on this post. There is no other real explanation.

Just curious how do you feel about the Steelers for sheltering Big Ben?

How do you think I feel? Disgusting. I root against them, just like I will any team who picks up Watson, and just like I did with the Lakers and Kobe. I don't root for sexual predators, rapists, or men who assault women.

His agents are part of the problem. At best this kid is making crappy choices, getting crap advice from his management team & crappy legal advice and at worst he’s a criminal. If you don’t settle these cases with NDAs for all parties involved then he’s not a fit anywhere. No one is giving you a haul of picks for this mess. It’s a pipe dream.

Then his value tanks and you have to cut him and try to go after his contract legally ( I’m sure they have moral clauses if the Texans aren’t total imbeciles) . Which I would have done after he refused to settle. The NFL should have placed this guy on the exempt list ages ago.

You're so wrong, I've been the poorest of the poor. I want everybody to be successful and as happy as they possibly can be.

I actually wish what I posted wasn't true.

I'm not saying he didn't work. But he did win the genetic lottery.

I could work as hard or harder than Watson. But I wouldn't ever have the athletic ability to play QB in the NFL. Very few people do.

That’s not even mentioning how easy big time athletes and recruits have it in high school and college

I was talking more in the light of thinking you're above the law.

I dont know the answer to the last sentence, but I bet it would be higher than either of us would think.

Fact is a good number of poor people who suddenly gain generational wealth struggle with life decisions. I'm sure you've heard of or seen this before.

You see that a lot with the rich and powerful, whether athletes, in Hollywood, politics, etc.. They lure women with their fame and money, and try buying them off if they go to authorities.

Probably very high indeed. Hush money is their favorite way to escape convictions.

True, but sexual deviants, stalkers, and rapists come in all colors, and all degrees of income. Struggling with life decisions isn't a term I would use in this type scenario. It's more of a twisted mental state of sexual pleasure. The thrill of shock and awe of exposing themselves can often turn into actual domination, force, and rape. I have no idea how far he went, but with all those women he stalked I doubt he's innocent of all accusations, if any.

    Do they not?
I don’t know a single highly recruited player that wasn’t coddled and/or given everything in high school and college.

    Nope this is a lie.

I've been poor and hope everybody that's been there can rise out of poverty and do as well as possible.

That doesn't mean my lotto winner post isn't true.
