    At this point the only reason I think it won't be McCown is because last week General Butterworth from the Land of IHOP said it would be McCown...

    The Cablinasian and Seth were wondering if the Texans would wait past Feb 4th to announce a McCown hire. Their thought was that fans have until to Feb 4th to take advantage of the ticket renewal sales. if they announce McCown before then, fans might pass up on the tix.

    Yeah, normally I would discount McClain because he's.....well, he's McClain. But this is different.

    I think McCown is literally the answer to McNair and Easterby's prayers. VERY literally.

    With all of these hot candidates out there, it would be 100% the Texans way to hire McCown.

    I feel that we either have sources said reporting stating that one of the two known finalists have won the job by the end of today or KOC or someone else is their guy.

    I mean the non official official type of done deal tweet. Something like Texans working on finalizing a deal with …

    it just seems like the team would want to finalize this for the senior bowl this week unless it were a coach still in the playoffs.
