DG - Thanks for finding and sharing this--warms my heart to see Dream coaching up Sengun. As a few others have said, absolutely believe Sengun is an ideal student for Dream because he already has great footwork and a foundation of big man moves. Adding the unique things Dream can teach him will only make him much more impactful. I'm not as worried about Sengun's height as others, mainly because of his BBIQ and hustle will help offset his athletic/physical limitations. I even hate to use the word limitations, because we all have a certain genetic potential and Sengun still has a long way to go in developing his body. He'll never be a dunk champion, but he's got so much else skill wise he can use to defeat adversaries. NOTE: Remembering how he abused Boogie and Portis so badly earlier this year, makes me chuckle.
actually i think green would have benefited more working with dream...sengun just needs playing time, he already has the game...
Sengun is going to be a beast in this league and all anyone can talk about is height? Height, man...not the smooth post moves and footwork...we're talking height.
ok i get the fascination with moves, but sengun already is good at that....not sure if major work is needed there...1 vs 1 he showed us already he can get an easy shot vs anybody... you think hakeem gonna also work on defensive fundamentals with alpi?
Sengun is 6'9 at best. And I think the Rockets are debating on if he's better served as a PF or Center. This is why he gets the majority of his minutes at the backup center spot. Hopefully he improves his 3-pt shot and they can play him at PF more next to Wood.
