Davis Mills was the Texans attempt at catching lightning in a bottle. All they got was a bottle with a drop of old beer with a cigarette butt floating in it.

Like I said b4 draft more qbs and grab more. Let them duke it out during the pre season/off season.
If mills wins the starting position so b it.

For all we know the new hc wants someone as qb. Nothing set in stone.

Some people just can’t get Watson out of their head, clouds anything that they see. I don’t know if Mills will continue to improve. I do know that at this point, he is the Texans qb and finding a coach and system to enhance his qualities is the smart move. Draft o-line and a nfl running back, make it work, don’t hamper what you already have.

Exactly I've seen enough of mills to give him this year and he flops then start looking for qbs in 23 by having a chance at Bryce Young no need to draft a qb in a draft where would have been considered the top qb had he stayed in college

Mills needs to win some games (especially on the road) before we plug him in as a franchise QB. And he needs to play better on the road (like Joe Burrow)

    Decent numbers aren’t enough.

    Beating the Jags isn’t enough.

No doubt, he’s just finished his rookie season and didn’t have much seasoning in college.
He just needs to keep improving.

This is the kind of **** that makes people doubt things, and get annoyed with yall.

Why is it so hard to say "give him a year and see what happens"?

    Y’all?
You got dudes in here still counting him out and wanting to waste draft picks on “competition”
I’ve said we need to see what we got from the beginning. Have never claimed him to be the future outside of messing with some of the same old posters that don’t want Mills as their QB.
So far, Mills has proven my support is warranted.

Why don’t you quote some of the “doubters” for their reasons on why they don’t want Mills.

No offense, you'rse (philly style) was just the closest one to reply to.

Mills is "The Future" in as much as he should start every game next season and then re-evaluate; and anyone who says otherwise annoys the **** out of me.

He’s got this year to prove it. The best thing for the Texans is for him to do exactly that.

Also, it should annoy the piss out of you the reasons why some of these dudes don’t want mills. It’s flat out wrong.

Yeah that’s it. Not the fact that there’s been multiple dudes express that they only want a player/coach that is a minority.
They don’t want what’s good for the team, just what’s good for “culture”.
    Hypocrites

We're on the same page, If they want to argue about inevitable things, then let them do it.

Let's see how the coaching hire goes, after the Super Bowl, right?

There's nothing wrong with doing more to acquire qbs to see if there's anything better than mills.

Locking in Mills as our future qb is dumb as fk especially if the logic was he was the best of his draft class. Man has shown improvement, but I still would let him duke it out in training camp against other qbs. If he wins it, then it's his job to lose not that complicated.
