It's not funny when the Texans are run by Christians who only want christians on the team. Robert Saleh never was in serious consideration. Just look at the type of people that the Texans hire in the front office, they all fit the same religious profile.
People are mocking the Texans because they appear to consider religious affiliation when hiring people.

What’s so ironic is during Caserio’s interview a week or so ago… he literally praised Mike Tomlin as a head coach and a leader. But it certainly seems like a Mike Tomlin is the exact OPPOSITE of what the Texans are looking for in a head coach.
Everyone here knows, it doesn't matter when McCown gets hired. If he gets hired people will say that he was chosen over the other guys. The same reason there are people out there who think we screwed over Deshaun when we "didn't hire Eric Bienemy". There are way more candidates than there are jobs. And ultimately when we finally pick a coach, there's going to be qualified guys everywhere that "The Texans passed on for McCown"
Kind of bizarre nothing came out of this. Either the Texans have secretly interviewed him, Kevin said no thanks to an interview, or the Texans already have their guy elsewhere.
They’ve been very tight lipped throughout this process. It was widely thought Mayo or McDaniels would at a minimum, get interviews. Unless they’re doing a lot behind closed doors it seems they haven’t even reached out to those guys
I honestly thought this whole process was a sham to hire Brian Flores because of the timing of the Culley firing. I honestly have no clue what the Texans are doing. I hope they do.
When they first started this, weren't they tweeting every time they interviewed a candidate? It does seem odd that stopped.
He needs some entry level coaching experience; nothing is as amateur or entry level than this clown show.

Just because you never know if someone's going to be a good head coach or not, and you've got all these people who have followed this team through years of incompetence that are vowing his hiring would be the final straw for them. As if nothing else would have done it before. I hope he gets hired, they quit the team and then he's great. Watching those people come crawling back would be worth it.
