Once again I am disappointed in y'all.
All these threads on here and not one focusing on the Texans quarterback for the 2022 season? SMH

You saw what he did versus the Rams on Sunday. Now YOUR future Texans QB is preparing to take on the Cowboys on Saturday.
You know Nick and Jack can't wait for the playoffs to end and free agency to begin so they can bring Jimmy back into the Patriots (south) fold.

    Be excited!!!!!

    Love me some Jimmy G.

Would rather add weapons and see what we've got in Mills.

There’s no need. We already found our superstar qb in Davis Mills.

I was on board before Mills broke out the last month of the season…but now it’s a pass. He would be better off going to Miami or Carolina. Teams that are a qb away from making a run.

Give Mills a run game, better interior linemen, and a better play caller and I think we’ve got our guy. QB on a rookie deal will be very valuable to this rebuild, especially once those big contracts are unloaded.

playoffs in 2023. Yes, I said it.

Definitely. Now that there are 7 teams making it...10 wins pretty much gets you in. I could easily see them competing for a spot next year and making it in 23.

Jimmy G is prob the most overrated QB in the NFL. He’s prime Matt Schaub on a good day and a better looking Kirk Cousins on most days, I don’t see any more upside or improvement. Mills unequivocally is the better OPTION for QB in ‘22.

    100% average QB.

Might as well just stick with Mid Mills.

Texans need to try to figure out a way to trade Deshaun for Trey Lance and get some extra picks off the 49ers in that deal too.

Trey Lance is further behind as a QB than Mills. He throws one of the ugliest balls there is. Huge potential but could bust too

Too early... Texans will wait until 2024, then bring him in to compete with their 2nd rd pick QB... Jimmy wins the QB battle then goes on to ink 3 yr $60 milli deal and further destroy the 2nd rounders confidence... Texans start off 2-5 then they decide oh wait, we have Davis Mills.. He goes on to lead us to 9-8 and sneaks in the playoffs... Then the fun starts! 3 QBs , one spot...

Funny because their coach K Shanahan really wanted Cousins at one point. I basically agree w your analysis. I'd say you can usually pencil Jimmy G in for 1-2 dumb turnovers but he's surprisingly gutsy in late-game situations. Teammates seem to rally around him in big games.

The disrespect this forum shows to OUR future Texans QB smh.
Y'all saw how he orchestrated that win against Green Bay IN Green Bay. (Blah blah blah Deebo Samuels Blah blah blah special teams blah blah blah)

In fact, the outcome of the game was decided the moment OUR future Texans QB walked into Lambeau Field looking like this

That's a bad man right there

He was HORRIBLE, except for 1 drive. That game was won by special teams and defense.

The winning drive in the last 3:30.

Being able to come up big when your team needs you the most after playing like crap most of the night is a talent in itself.

Reminds me of the same arguments that made the jets stick with Mark Sanchez for so long
