Good loss Rockets, keep us competitive and manage to barely lose it. I like it. Keep believing on the only championship that matters, Tankathon champs!
FYI, he went 3/13 in that game. He really hasn't done much of anything in his Euroleague games yet to stand out. I'm not saying he's going to be a bust because what do I know, but that highlight video pretty much disguises the entirety of his games in the Euroleague. He's definitely got skills, though.
This team is just not very good. There is 3 other teams who are young and irrelevant like Houston in the NBA. Enjoy if you like to watch growing pains.
Like 2021 there's 4 guys in this draft that's seen ahead of everyone else: Smith, Banchero, Holmgrem and Ivey. 3 of these guys are PFs and would immediately sooth the "we missed on Mobley" crowd. The 4rth dude is yet another high scoring guard so in short we need that top 3 pick bad lol.
I want the top 3 pick, but Pistons and Magic are so bad.. and I think we eventually might go over OKC..
We need to trade Wood and Gordon fast. It's not just about maximizing their return but also realizing that trading them now is essentially like trading for a higher pick in this year's draft.
I’d take him over Chet. First big prospect I’ve liked in quite some time. Super raw and young, but his skill set you can’t teach. Everything else will settle into place if he can avoid injuries which is always the concern with the big guys. Agreed his games haven’t stood out, but there is plenty of tape to gloss over and he’s widely regarded as the best prospect of that draft class.
i dont get it? why would you only want to **** the best looking girl? 10th best looking girl is a lot better better than the ugliest chicks rockets strive for....
Because the best looking could be a 10 and the 10th could be a 5. Sure, Rockets usually left empty handed or with a 3 in arm but back then they had a 10 at home. Now that they are divorced and their 10 left them for the Nets they would like to land another 10 instead of a 5.
It seems to me that you'd rather be masturbating for years, fantasizing over hot Czech models, instead of taking a chance on a cute next-door girl, who may have a great personality and may turn out to be a fire-breathing dragonness in bed. That's what it looks to me, all this tanking and fantasizing is all about.
Yeah, I didn't want to say he sucks because he doesn't. I'm wary of a lot of the high school-level talent, tbh. It's a different era nowadays with a bunch of 18-19 year olds dominating the draft, and most of them won't pan out for another 2-4 years, if at all. Ten to 15 years ago a 24-26 year old would've been considered a young talent. Nowadays they're considered on their last legs. lol. I've got the same problem with Victor that I had with others with that frame, including Chet. Can their bodies handle the beating in the NBA without breaking down? The other thing I'd like to see is a progression from level to level. I'm not a huge Euroleague watcher, but I believe they don't focus on one or two players on the team as much as the NBA does, but still, if you're a good shooter, you're a good shooter; if you have great instincts, you have great instincts; if you dominated on the level before, can you still dominate a level higher? I thought Banchero probably dominated high school because the dude was a 6'9" 220 lbs monster playihg with little kids out there. But he's proven to be a good player in college. Jaden Hardy down in the G-League dominated in high school, but the one thing he's known for in high school seems to have abandoned him in the G-League -- his shot. Is what's happening to him also what happened to Jalen, for example? He was a lock as a top 3 or 4 pick a few months ago in this upcoming draft. Now I see most mocks have him falling to mid or late teens. He may not even be the first player picked off the Ignite team. So, I always question whether it's competition catching up to ability or just "newness" to systems or what that makes players decline going from level to level. With Wembanyama, I don't know since I don't follow overseas leagues much. But as a prospect? Yeah, he's #1 or #2 in that draft right now from everything I've seen/read.
And someone wins the Powerball too. You aren't making any point other than to say we *might* get lucky.
