[Tracy McGrady] I could've won championships, I just never had the pieces around me.

He didn’t. He had Yao Ming and one was always injured whenever the other was healthy. Other than Yao we had a really sub par group around them for every year except the Artest year…when McGrath was injured and Yao eventually was injured. After CD retired our role players got much better. We would have won with health and better cast.

It is always easier to win a championship as the second best player. I mean I could have won a championship with Jordan or Hakeem.

T-mac really should stop talking. He couldn't get out of the first round. So do not talk about how you would have won championships.

How many guys did you recruit, Tracy?
How much money did you leave on the table to give the team more ability to get pieces?
How many of the youngsters did you mentor to try to elevate them?

I knew he wasn’t the one when I saw them let Fisher check him 1–1 in the playoffs, and it worked.

mergady was a decent 2nd option in his prime. but given his glass body, he's a 6th man talent on a contender.

    Win shares as a Rocket

    McGrady : 33.2 in 6 seasons
    Harden : 115 in 9 seasons

    Same thing pretty much

I believe this season we also had the opportunity to trade Tmac for Ray Allen and declined. Boston with Ray went on to win the chip. Had we made the trade, the Allen/Artest/Yao trio likely would've faced a Boston team without Tmac in the finals.

Huh? 17-18 Rockets would obliterate and abuse that team with ease

Tracy is the least aware player ever. The guy was an overrated chucker. Proprably my least favorite rocket ever not named Pippen.

    Tracy McGrady [IMG] James Harden
Losing by 39 in an elimination game to your in-state rival

    Tracy McGrady [IMG] James Harden
    Quitting on the Rockets

McGrady has more of a case of no help than Harden but both are losers.

Literally, any player could say that, and it is true.

Chris Jent won a ring with the Rockets because of the pieces around him.

Wait, are we hearing McGrady say that his inability to get out of the first round isn't ON ME?

I really wish Tmac would just stop giving interviews. Just shut up. He says the weirdest things in interviews. "Kobe said he wanted to die young" Like no one needed to know he told you that a long time ago shut up T mac.
