Come on what MC? This could be in the coroners office before they pack the body away. Without reference, there is no way to know. I don't get how you can make such a huge leap of faith about this.....do you actually believe our soldiers are over there killing prisoners with ice? I have seen nothing to substantiate that....show me, and I will acquise. DD
I would say that she may have been displaying a rather sad form of gloating but I am sure that picture was meant for personal viewing and not meant for public viewing.
Fine, so he was not killed by ice. But does it matter? He did not die of cancer, did he? 14 death in Iraqi prisoner camps... coincidence, may I ask?
I am just thinking that if they are as religious as they claim that to desecrate their bodies and give them no hope of redemption under their Islamic beliefs would cause them to pause. DD
OH MY GOD!!! You mean people actually die in war. How many POW's died in prison camps of the nazis, Japanese, North Korean's, North Viet Cong, etc. I am sure if you look at the % of deaths in those places compared to the ones currently in Iraq, I bet you see that number is quite and most likely people who were already injured before entering the prison. I do not wish death on anyone but I kill anyone who wants to kill me.
For those of you who can handle it, Drudge has a link to the photos of Paul Johnson's beheaded body. Word of warning: The photos are very graphic and extremely gruesome.
No, that just makes you a liar ! 14 dead, where they injured before they got there? What was the status of these dead? Were they tortured? I highly doubt it....all I have read so far is that the US took humiliating pictures to use as pysch ops. That is bad, in fact it is disgusting, but it IS NOT beheading, and the two ARE NOT even remotely equal. These terrorists are PIGS, and should be slaughtered as such. DD
No I don't think they are killing people with ice. But after someone dies in a situation like that it seems logical to pack them in ice to preserve them for a while. "Murder" is one of the the expressions that some senators have used after seeing photos and video of prisoner abuse (that we haven't seen).
You have lost ALL respect and have gained the honor of becoming the 1st person on my ignore list. I can respect people who have differing opinions than I, but what you did is dispicable. DONT ever come out and say something like that person was killed by the US guards by ice unless you know it for sure. For all we know that guy was killed by another prisoner in the camp. WE DON'T KNOW and obviously you do not either so stop the fiction and take your crap elsewhere.
All I'm saying that Muslims are not alone in killing innocent people. It's a world-wide phenomenom. Since you know innocent people die in war, did you know that Americans have been involved in the most number of wars?
I apologize since I didn't know all the facts before I posted. But it's very likely some prisoners died due to abuse. How's that, because otherwise the army won't be investigating them.
I also am against terrorism, but that doesn't mean that some of us can do exactly the same thing when given the circumstances. Hate, like your quote, is all it takes.
Interesting but again your logic is flawed. The USA has been around for over 200 years but there are many conutries that have been involved in many more wars then we have. Coincidently, the Middle East has been at war with each other for , oh, say 2000 years. They still are today. Funny how this intense hatred, violence, flat-out savage behavior is originating from there now. Again, all they know , understand, or respect is violence. I do not condone violence but this country will not intimidated into giving up just because we get our hands a little dirty.
How much do you know about their culture? You do know that many of them think of the same thing about Americans.
What a terrible thing, again. Truly sickens me. Somehow capturing some of these evil beings, and putting them on trial doesn't seem just. +
What did this prisoner do before he was imprisoned? None of us know. What we know is that many prisoners at Abu Ghraib were killers. Not all, but many. If this dead man attempted to kill Americans, then I have no sympathy for him. None.
I apologize if I offended someone here. I will summarize my point: Stop hating so much. Hate leads to war, and war to hate, and hate to terrorism and terrorism to hate. It's a vicious cycle. Cheers
I apologize for derailing this thread with a stupid argument. MY thoughts are with the Johnson family on this very sad day. No hard feeling DD
I feel you. But he probably attempted to kill americans because Americans attempted to kill him. Don't enter a war. A war is alwasy unjust.
