I had someone recommend that to me yesterday. I really don't like Ricky Gervais but I might have to watch it now.
It's really good. Happy, sad, funny, and crude all in one. Definitely not for children to watch though. Here's a clip of a scene I loved.
I think I could get into that. I watched a trailer for David Brent: Life on the Road. It's from 2016 or so and I think it bombed at the box office, but the trailer looked decent to me. I'm not familiar with the British version of The Office, but he evidently reprises his role. I think yours is probably the safer bet, though.
To be fair, a lot of places do underprice the kids menu because of the upcharge on the regular menu. There are better ways to get good deals.
Thanks for mentioning Last Chance U. Don't know how I missed this one. Started with Part 5 (Laney College, in part because I used to live in Fremont and used to see Laney mentioned in sports pages often. Amazingly good documentary (Netflix is great with documentaries). Even my wife has gotten into the show and the lives of the players.
The Laney Season (part 5) was put out because of all the turmoil in the previous 4 seasons of Last Chance U. The calamity in part 4 was crazy.. it was a disaster. they had to move to a whole new college it was so bad.
Hulu : How I met your Father. It's terrible but I owed it to the OG show to at least watch the pilot. Then again, I can watch that PAWG, Hilary Duff in anything.
Yep. I lived in Baltimore for a little over 10 years. All of Simon's Baltimore-based projects (Homicide, The Corner, The Wire) do an incredible job of capturing the real feel of that city.
I lived there for 3 years right in the middle of the time the wire is based on mid-gentrification of the area around the new stadium. I just realized Inner Harbor was never a thing in The Wire, nor Mondamwin or The New Stadium. All very big things in B-more. I miss Lake Trout, Pit Beef and Chicken Boxes.
