Seems fine to me. Don't love having "Cowboy" in it, but it's different. Minor league team names should be silly. Syncing them with the Astros more will only make them more popular, got no problem with it.
If it ain’t broke, why fix it? It’s not that big of a deal, but who was clamoring for a new name? I guess they think they can sell a lot of new shirts or something.
Nah. There are more Astros fans in central Texas. Just all the bandwagon Dallas fans wore Texas jerseys when they were winning.
What an awful downgrade of the name. I legitimately own Skeeters merch that I bought, you couldn't give me "Space Cowboy" merch. It's just a really stupid name. If we need to go with a stupid name ripped from a song, why not just go with the Atomic Dogs?
Space Cowboys is better than Skeeters in my book but personally Skeeters had to be the worst name in history so it didn't take much. I'll have to see the logo and gear. I have plenty of Hooks gear because I love the logo. I had a coworker that used to try and give away his Skeeters gear at work I never saw anything I'd want. It usually went to home with him at the end of the week.

I am pretty neutral on the new name But the Skeeters was terrible. And from what I heard, Jim Crane hated the Skeeters name. Renaming has been in the works since he bought his chunk of the team. Money talks.
