Yay! We are back to the debunked height issues!

Pssss listed heights pre 2019 are not actual heights. Plenty of info to search up for those who arent convinced but are trying to lay the burden of proof on others! RESEARCH!

Nah, let them keep doing it... it'll just make it funnier when they try to pretend they never did it later.

Funny how you would quote the most ridiculous take to support your narrative. The issue of height is nebulous at best and not really relevant.

As is comparing him to Kobe Bryant - let's just let him be Jalen Green and HOPE he develops into a star.

It is like comparing Sengun to Hakeem.....I mean.....neither of them will probably become a superstar, but we can hope they do...and it is not fair to compare them or place that expectation upon them.

Because then when/if they don't hit it, people will be like....they are a bust....when a player that is a GOOD NBA player is about what Green is projected to be at this point.....and that is great.

Oh I don't think height has anything to do with it, the entire claim is flat out ridiculous on its face.

We've got a blank slate of a rookie almost devoid of NBA skills who gets by on athleticism alone and his cult is making Kobe comparisons?

Could he develop NBA skills one day? Sure, but as of right now he's not even the best rookie on his own team.

No one in basketball history had Kobe's work ethic but Jalen has to have it.

No one in basketball history would have had a significantly different career with +/- 1 inch of height but it is the difference in Green's career.

Jalen's height is fine but his head and shoulders say his height is less important. This one cracked me up.

Like I said, they picked on the EXACT SAME **** with Kobe. Too thin. All flash. Doesn't have Jordan's hands. Guards don't win championships. Bla bla bla. Didn't ever matter.

Even if Jalen were listed 6'7, they would be picking on him for not being 6'8.

Even if Jalen is 6'0, he's going to be a star scorer and franchise player. He's going to have a long illustrious career like Kobe Bryant and we'll have championship banners in the rafters.

While these guys whine about how he's not strong enough, Jalen will just keep blowing past all those strong guys, and as he gets stronger will become elite attacking the rim. You can see it in his rapidly developing finishing at the rim and FT rate already. His strength will take time, but star quality+ work ethic = new ways of playing start to develop if necessary.

Jalen doesn't need the extra inch, unlike these guys.

Gaining muscle mass in the middle of the season probably isn't going to help his shooting numbers though. But I don't really care. Rookie stats don't define one's career.

    Keep on bulking up Jalen.

could be a factor in why he is so streaky.

not too worried. i'd rather him miss 3's but be able to finish at the rim for now.
