Chronicles of Narnia is basicly a Turkish tale adaptation. Not only Turkish Delight but lots of names come from Turkish such as : -Aslan means lion in Turkish, the name of lion was Aslan -Tash means stone in Turkish, the name of stone totem was Tash, ... Narnia is not in the same league of Ignaz Kunocz' "44 Turkish Tales" but still gives Turks lots of childhood resemblances.
Partially correct (I studied CS Lewis as part of my degree) it's actually not adapted from anything Turkish, it's a fantasy story heavily filled with biblical stories and references. Lewis took a lot of naming and stylistic influence from Arabian Nights, but it isn't an adaptation of any of them. With regards to Aslan, the use of the Turkish word for Lion is to represent "the Lion of Judah" (Jesus in the Bible) as Aslan is in reference to the Christian God/Jesus (which is why he dies to protect the "good" people, only to be later resurrected.) Tash is Narnia's equivalent of Satan/the Evil god of the Calormen who are generally Middle-Eastern in appearance and style, an underlying theme of the Last Battle book is whether or not Aslan and Tash are in fact one and the same which references some religious sects belief regarding Christian God/Allah, though he also drew heavy influence from Hinduism. Lewis was himself a devout Christian and may have presented it this way is he obviously wouldn't consider Allah and Christian God to be the same, himself being an Anglican Christian who do not believe that. Just thought I'd add in a little more info haha. Note: I am Jewish so none of the above reflects my own religious values, I just studied it heavily.
I am sure the constant travel and jet lag doesn't help either. Texas alone is almost the size of Turkey.
Texas is more than 30 times Slovenia but that did not stop Doncic (the fat, unathletic Doncic!) from playing 32 minutes a game in 72 games in his first year. More or less every rookie comes in the league having played the same number of games previous season and similar traveling experience. If Sengun were playing more than 30 minutes a game, these might be reasonable concerns. He is playing 18 minutes a game. None of the issues mentioned should be a problem before 25 minutes a game. He might have a hard time back-to-back games. Then you just play him limited minutes in those games. Rockets are wasting valuable time with both Sengun and Green to develop them. My only hope is some major movement by the trade deadline and getting rid of Silas in the summer.
Whoa, you mean to tell me a 19 year old elite athlete on a global scale can actually play basketball more than 5 min?
From the horses mouth! https://spacecityscoop.com/posts/alperen-sengun-explains-why-he-doesn-t-play-more
lol this is just 19 old kid reporting what his superiors have fed him...just a fllufy dust-thrower piece he also chucks a lot of 3pointers now and its not his game at all... i wonder why hes doing it... TAKE THAT FOR DATA
