If Love was half the Love of the past, the Cavs would win this comfortably.

Maybe he would have worked out for the rockets if they got rid of KPJ. Maybe Mobley's dad is right and KPJ is a bad dude.

That's because he drives in the paint cp3 style and gets an easy lob, midrange or floater. Most of these new players suffer because they lack fundamentals, all they know is 3's and step-back 3's. Garland makes his bigs look real good.

Denying Sengun? He can't play 5 minutes without picking up multiple fouls lol. He's a liability on defense. He's not even the best rookie on his own team. You guys are delusional

Mobley's def been great and has a bright future.

It's not yet half a season way too early to close the book on Green and Mobley. Did you also predict Harden would have a better career than Blake Griffin 3 mos into their rookie year? Lol Griffin was an instant superstar Harden scored like 9 ppg his rookie year.

We can only tell 5+ yrs from now when both reach their prime to say who is the better pick.

It's crazy how nobody talks about his crazy foul rate, I thought he would have gotten it a bit under control by now but he still makes stupid ass fouls and continues to do the same **** once he has gotten a couple.

I am beginning to wonder if he right in the head, half of his fouls are just boneheaded considering he has rep now.

Ah yes a rookie learning how to adapt to the fouls called in the soft ass nba. With little mins given to even b consistent, u come to the conclusion there's something fked up with his thought process.

Man is a crafty intelligent offensive big man. I'm should hed smart enough to limit his fouls as time goes on.

Was it ever explained why Mobleys dad hated us. It seemed really out of the blue for no good reason.

Definitely out of the blue but there are good reasons:

-a head coach that oversaw a season where his team lost 20 games in a row
-a front office that was unproven at the time
-an owner who's reputation is not all that great

I don't think his dad hated us but he saw a dysfunctional organization and said "Thanks but no thanks". His dad was also an assistant coach at USC in 2018 when KPJ played too so he probably saw/witnessed something he wasn't fond of and didn't want his kid to be exposed to that kind of behavior.

We should not have taken in KPJ. He ended up not being so "low risk"; by taking him in, he indirectly contaminated the selection process. Just because Rockets was ready to forgive, doesn't mean other people that came in contact with him did.

Lol easier said then done. You know every game Mobley plays well, the dagger digs itself a little deeper.

I can't recall who it was - but I'm positive it was one of the known posters on here - said Mobley's dad wanted absolutely no part of his son playing with KPJ.

The Rockets were never in the running because they were accommodating Kevin 'can I throw this at someone?' Porter Jr.
