Covid, Fame and Catching Cases changes things. It's still so compelling IMO. The same thing happened to Last Chance U. It always starts off with documenting the sport then life explodes the whole thing.
I thought this parody was pretty lame.. I think that was the point.. but it was still unfunny. I appreciate the effort though.
I started watching this I can't remember if I finished but I remember some outrages stuff started happening. Halifax Retribution was really good.
Some time during lockdown, me and my wife's cousin watched the first season. And to be honest, at the time I was on a diet of like six or seven blunts a day and It came off like the intent was purely shock value and even though the plot was thinner than Zendaya herself, I thought it was interesting. Now watching it stone sober with a clear mind, the show is ****ing disgusting and aimless. I forced myself through the season premiere with the aid of fast forward but I couldn't make it to the title page on episode two, this one's in the bin for me
Yeah, I've convinced "Cheer" viewers to check out "Last Chance U" and vice-versa. It's not the sports that are compelling, it's the personal stories. Binged the first five eps last night. Binged the first 4 eps of season 3 of "After Life" this morning. Ricky Gervais at his finest.
Man. What a line up for 2022.... With new and returning shows. Our viewing lineup: Righteous Gemstones Peacemaker Westworld Barry Raised by Wolves House of the Dragon (game of thrones spinoff) Our Flag Means Death Lord of The Rings: The ring of power I feel like I'm missing some...
We've been watching The Great and it is very, very good. I don't know if I've ever seen a show integrate such dark content and humor so well.
We just watched a Netflix documentary called The Puppet Master, Hunting the Ultimate Conman. Netflix does a great job with true crime documentaries, and this one is among its best. This one is about a conman named Robert Hendry-Freegard who scammed numerous women into giving him money and worse over the course of many years. Amazing what this guy convinced people to do on the most bizarre stories and you really feel sorry for what he made these women do.
In addition to finishing For All Mankind, I’m 3 episodes in in Wheel of Time. I still need to catch up on The Expanse and Cobra Kai. I’ve been watching a lot of documentaries too and really recommend the BBC Timeline series. They do some great research into their subjects. Watched over the weekend one about a sunken U Boat found off the coast of Genoa. They figure out which ship and was and even find a living veteran who served in it and bring him to see the wreck. It’s incredibly moving his response to seeing more than 70 years later the final fate of his boat including his comrades he served with.
I launched Hulu, got up to get a drink, and when I came back the pilot of Golden Palace was on. I have to say, whoever wrote for Betty White hit it out of the park. I hope the rest of the episodes are as good.
