Yao is special because he is 7'5'' with skills. However, is he more skilled than Mo T? In another word, if Yao's 6'9'' with the same skills and plays PF, would he be better than Mo T?

    I don't know, what about a 6-11 Mike Ditka? C'mon, I know it's the offseason, but....

Well Yao can pass better and is willing to pass much more than Mo. Everything else might actually be a wash, but I don't see the point in speculating.

6'9" Yao with the same skills, same strength and jumping ability is nobody. He won't find a place in any professional basketball league.

Who's better, a 4'7" Shaq, or that guy that was in that movie about the kid with the thing?

All's I know is, my daddy can beat up your daddy.

I was wearing an onion on my belt, because that was the style at the time.

    August 14, please hurry.

I knew this would happen sooner or later in the offseason, so in keeping with the spirit of the times, I ask...

Who would win 1-on-1, 7-foot Jordan or Hakeem with 3 arms?

I can't imagine anyone being able to score on an Hakeem with 3 arms, even a 7 foot Jordan (or an entire team). =P

Hakeem with 3 arms: BEST. HAKEEM. EVAR.

Yao isn't 7'5", he is really 6'9" because of his huge dome.

Yao ming is slow as hell all he can do is shoot how are so many people voting for yao over mo. While mo cant rebound he is can dribble and his shot is pretty good. Yao ming is a better basser but he turns the ball over more too.

This is a ridiculous thread. We all know that. How about a 5'6 Francis?

How about a 7'5" MoT with the same speed and jumping ability? He'll be a monster. He will school Shaq every night. Nobody will complain about his rebounds anymore.

Yao is a fundementally sound player at any height.

MoT is a 1 dimensional player.

No more needs to be said.

i would take a 7-foot ant over yao any day. humans can pull about 60% of there own weight while ants pull 50 times theirs. yep, a 7-foot ant would be mvp of the league for years to come.
