My best friend was a good looking, successful guy who was also in the swinger scene in Houston and got ungodly amounts of ass. He was an absolute predator in bars and clubs and would rarely not go home with women. He would only date women on a regular basis who would swing with him. He died in 2015 (we think murdered by his swinger gf) and afterward his brother and I had a strong suspicion that he was bisexual by the end. He just had so much sex that we think he got bored and tried it, probably high on party drugs. I know he preferred women but I’m 99% sure he swung the other way at times. I really didn’t care either way, I loved him like a brother. I could see the logic but I don’t think I could bring myself to get with a dude. I’m just straight. I don’t even think I could do it stranded on an island for years with another man or in prison and be intimate with them. More power to you if that’s your thing, though.

Yeah in my experience it leads to some dark places. Consent becomes blurred, manipulation and shallowness become a big part of the problem. Drugs usually follow and you run into consenting people that do not seem to be doing the lifestyle in a healthy mental outlook. I was with a girl that gave full consent, but looking back on the "relationship" I wish I had not been involved with her as she seemed to really just want acceptance. I know a lot of men go too far IMO. If he really was completely submerged in the lifestyle, then he likely was having some form of sex with men. It starts with group sex or threesomes and then progresses... after awhile as long as it is physically pleasurable or mentally stimulating. Transsexuals and BDSM usually become popular........ and can be pleasurable. Usually there is no desire to have a relationship with a man and there is no love involved.
