Why not just move the damn team to Boston? Have 2 teams there... Texans are a branch of New England like UT at Arlington is to UT Austin
Other than Denver I don’t really see any good openings. Miami is quietly one of the most dysfunctional franchises in the league. Jacksonville is somewhat more dysfunctional than Houston. Minnesota is the definition of ‘treadmill team’ Oakland isn’t bad but I think they’re going to keep their intern guy around for another year. The Giants are in cap hell. The bears don’t have a great cap situation and are saddled to an Ohio State QB. Houston obvi has its roster issues and management issues. Not many great jobs out there tbh
After being a career assistant, Culley got to be an NFL HC out of only 32 jobs in the world and $22M in his bank account to boot. I think he counts this as a win in his career.
Sorry, flag on the play.....False Start, #78, 5 yard penalty, replay 3rd down. Next play, QB sneak called by Culley.
https://www.battleredblog.com/houst...reaking-news-houston-texans-fire-david-culley The report I see says he only had 2 years of gauranteeed money.
It ain't my money and it doesn't count against the cap so who cares Edit: Schefter says it's two years. It's possible it's a partial guarantee. Still who cares
Please with the bad franchise takes. All you mofos need to chill. It's a head coaching job regardless of how they feel about the franchise
Is the money accurate? That's a lot of money for someone who wasn't interviewed anywhere else. I thought it was two years?
Some of you guys are insufferable. You all complained when Culley was hired and now complain again when he gets let go for the opportunity for an upgrade. Flores, Mayo or McDaniels would be an upgrade.
