    Really like the man.

Atleast Cal will have paid him 10 mil or so after a buyout.

Well worth the trouble for a 65 year old HC.

That Prepper tweet makes me feel as if Culley will be retained and a high profile offensive coordinator will be brought in. But then other reports say that Kelly would be retained. And also, separating the man from the coach, if you bring in a high profile coordinator, their credentials would be better than those of Culley's, anyways.

Hell, Pep Hamilton and Lovie Smith have better credentials than Culley.

Bring on Mayo, Ryans, McCown, or even McDaniels.

    Mcdaniels
    Mayo
    McCown

In that order and I could see McCown joining this staff either as HC or OC

I am curious to see where Joe Brady ends up. Lots of chatter about him last offseason.

It's really hard to say, because the NFL of the 1980s was way different than the NFL of the 2000s... which in turn is WAY different from the NFL of the 2020s.

I thought Brady was super overrated his first 5-6 years in the league. Would I have dumpstered him? Hell no. They were winning Super Bowls. But, the reality is he was Alex Smith with an elite defense and coaching staff/FO. Then the NFL tore up the rule book in 2007 and here we are.

We both agree that Mills will get his day in court. 2022 is his for the taking, and I hope he destroys and gets that fat ass contract.

Gotta disagree with you on the Brady was Alex Smith

He literally took his tam on a SB winning drive with less than a minute left in a SB in his 2nd year in the NFL. You know things that only Smith could dream of doing in the playoffs and I liked Smith.

All these clowns had to do was hire Bienemy when they had the chance. But they chose to stay stuck in the mud and now we are in the same situation a year later and losing our star QB. Such an ignorant and petty group of people.

Hiring Bienemy or any other legit candidate would have prevented them from canning them after one year like they’re about to do to Culley. Would have made the clown-show look even worse…I know, hard to believe. This was the long play all along.

And thus starts the "extensive and thorough patriot background" coaching search.

This means we already have our next coach in hand.

Look for that announcement very, very soon.

P.S. I feel really bad for David. As bad as you can for a millionaire getting to live his lifelong dream anyway. They completely sandbagged him. Pretty unprofessional by the Texans.

If you are a highly desired coaching candidate, would you take the Texans job after they fired the last coach after one year? I am guessing they settled for Culley last year after the one(s) they really wanted either said no or took other jobs. And they will have to settle again this year. This franchise is toxic.
