He was ****ing horrible in that series and he faded once the series got tight and he started feeling pressure. How easy you forget Rockets fans were all hoping we could build a big enough lead in the first half because we knew Harden enters the witness protection program in the second half.

He shot abysmal numbers from 3 on ultra high volume and had high turnovers as usual and he saved his worst game in the series for the last one. Even though “we won” that series we really lost. All you care about are his stats and numbers which only look good cause they’re inflated and padded. See Westbrook.

That's it? That's nothing, spare change money. Including advancing deep in the playoffs would only give you an added 250k give or take, that's chump money in NBA terms.

Might as well just give them the title. You add Harris and Aldridge to the mix with that kind of spacing the nets offense will be astronomical

No playmaking and getting to the line is more important and he thrived with those in the playoffs even on one leg

    Playmaking

Harden averages 6.7 assists per game over his career. That is nothing to write home about as a primary ball handler/playmaker. Combine that with 3.8 turnovers per game and that’s absolute crap. That’s a 1.76 ratio. Again, pathetic for a ball dominant guard.

    3 pt shooting

    Harden career
2530 makes 6978 attempts 7.7 attempts per game.

    GOAT shooter career
3018 makes 7024 attempts 8.8 attempts per game.

Nobody has attempted more 3s than Harden in the last 10 years aside from Curry who is the undisputed GOAT shooter. Harden is actually 3rd ALL TIME in 3 pt attempts. The numbers above are not far off aside from the number of makes. You’re telling me 3 pt shooting is not the most important part of his game cause he’s barely above league average (36%) for his career right? You know damn well if he made them at a higher rate you’d admit it is the most important part of his game. The sheer volume of attempts suggests that is indeed the most important part of his game.

High turnovers, costly mistakes especially down the stretch, poor 3 pt shooting at ultra high clip, relying on refs to blow the whistle to get to the line. That is not the guy that’s leading you to a Championship.

Ole harden is still in your head rent free after all these years

Harden may not b as dominant as he used 2, but we wish we had someone with an ounce of hardens skills.

I'm just glad I don't see your ass on the real Rockets game thread btching about hardens ass anymore. Rockets fan? More like a harden hater.

When Harden is "on" offensively its not hyperbole to say he's one of the best offensive players you'll ever see. Even compared against other all time greats when "on" themselves.

And, fortunately for him, I think the Nets championship hopes rest squarely on his shoulders... with Kyrie, without Kyrie... if Harden is "on" in the playoffs, nobody stopping the Nets (with Kyrie certainly helps).

Unfortunately for him and the Nets, there's a near ZERO chance he remains "on" for the whole playoffs. He's too inconsistent a shooter.

Once the playoff starts I'm rooting for them, and specifically for Harden to be "the man" in the playoffs, such that its clearly him as the driving force and less KD (who i still believe is a lil beeyatch with a frail attitude in general).

In an ideal world, they win a chip, and Harden doesn't resign lol.

that’s always been the problem with him. He is never “on” when it matters the most and finds new ways to choke
